Haven't played for a couple of weeks. Had it set to Development, there's like 6 players TOTAL across all servers, official or community.

Switched to stable, and there's literally zero. Steam bug? What's up?

Really? A simple, "lots of players for me" would suffice guys before I start screwing around with Steam/Rust local content.

It's most likely an issue of update synchronization... you can't see the servers because they require something you're missing. Try a validation, restart steam, and if all else fails re-download the game.

The Rust update process has been a bit of a clusterfuck for some people for a while now... every Friday the game goes into a perpetual download/validation process. Usually restarting steam helps. It could be a Valve issue, but I haven't had it happen with any other games.

Hmmm. Tried validating Rust and restarting Steam, no dice.

I'm on Stable right now and while I see servers, they're all showing as empty. The only Official server is Singapore; I see 86 Community servers.

Just blew away local content, tried dev-debug, dev, and stable, still not seeing what I should be seeing for number of players.

I had a simular problem a while back and when I went in and verified my settings. I had one of the beta versions selected in the properties. When I changed it back to "None - " I was able to see a lot more.

Odd. I've been switching back and forth between stable and development prior to two weeks ago when I last played. There were always players in both.

are you seeing servers, just no players?

there is a consistent bug that appears to mess with the server lists. so far the only thing i have figured to sort it is a steam restart, but that may not be your problem:/

Flipped it to Stable, works now: see all the servers, lots of players.
