If it's the new rust... it may be people's homes falling apart. I noticed, it once as I stood in my small home. It just crumbled around me.

Tbh kinda lost hope with it now :) lack of support for any post I've wrote has put me right off even playing the game now. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Can you post up details of what you are using in your command line (minus ip/rcon password details) so I can take a look?

to clarify I don't think there are any active decay settings yet but on the flip side there are a few command line arguments that are a bit ambiguous, a long shot but why don't we take a look at it.

Regarding the actual 'vanishing' does this happen when the player is in the game, at the base, or are the objects just gone when they next login - or following a restart or an update?

Also, with the recent introduction of the build physic, I believe if certain load balancing objects are removed from the base, it can fall over or general collapse, have you noticed this only started recently or perhaps closely aligned with this new update?

You may need to do some detective work if following this option - check the players bases and see if they are being built properly, sturdy, that sort of thing

I have had some isolated reports of shit vanishing but not enough to really be worried about it.

First server - hosted on nitrous

    -batchmode -load +server.port ***** +rcon.ip ****** +rcon.port ****** +server.maxplayers 100 +server.hostname "server name" +rcon.password "password" +server.identity "server" +server.seed 123456 +server.secure

Second Server - hosted on streamline

    -batchmode +server.hostname "server name" +server.ip ****** +server.port ***** +server.maxplayers 100 -server.globalchat true +server.identity "name" +server.seed 123456 +server.saveinterval 300 -server.worldsize 4000 +server.secure "true" +rcon.ip ****** +rcon.port **** +rcon.password "password" -load

One server is hosted in Germany and the other in the UK

I've had a few reports from users so I decided to test this out myself and made a place. To start with I was constantly having to replace walls/windows/doorways.. they would just vanish even with me making sure each object was 100% complete before moving on to the next part. Bottom floor seemed stable but once I hit the second floor it was a nightmare. I was building the floor first then making sure it was on 100% before moving on to the pillars then floor on top/walls next and I'd turn away for a second and bang they are gone.

Once I had everything 100% stable I left the server came back the next morning and most of the second floor was missing. I'm glad this seems to be a building issue if that's the case. Also happy they don't have decay atm.. between that and buildings falling apart it would be pointless building anything.

    Thanks

You might be able to get some info out of this post.

I was pretty sure I had seen a post about object disappearing in the main forums. I haven't read through it yet but sounds spot on to what you are seeing!
