We've been playing just fine for a couple weeks but all of the sudden this evening I'm sometimes not getting a list of servers, and then if I do get a list, I can connect to the server but it kicks me right after I connect, like 5-10 seconds afterward. Sometimes I get the popup saying "Easy Anti Cheat Failure" and it also says "Error: Initialization Completed.", but usually that's when I don't get a list of servers.
When I do connect, the error in the console also mentions an issue with Easy Anti Cheat. I'll get the exact text the next time I'm able.

Pretty much same issue here. Connected a few times and dropped right away, so naturally I kept trying. Now I can't get a list of servers :(

Yeah, my wife and a friend of ours have the same issue....not sure what's up.

Steam being DDOS'd. Servers linked to steam or using steam to verify ownership will be kicking players or dc'ing.
should be stabilizing now i think. Unless you're using a non-steam version. (Does that exist for RUST?)
bunch of these threads showin up in recently created threads. Next time stuff like this happens, check Steam general might tell you if its Steam as a whole or just RUST
