Anyone have recommendations for the smallest "ladder" or "stairs" that you can build? Anything that will fit in a triangle foundation area if it is surrounded by walls? Well, 2 walls and a door anyways. A wooden box and cupboard would work, or a railing, but neither will fit into a triangle area. Don't really want to use a furnace but it's all I can think of.

How do you guys build up to your next level?

currently the smallest (ie 1x1) you can do is a ramp with a box at the top, and jump to the next level. otherwise you need a 2x1 with a ramp, then a block with a ramp on it.

    *edit*

apologies, missed the triangle based foundation. reply is irrelevent unless you use normal foundations on the sides of the 6x triangle foundation hexagon.

A furnace is what I use in my triangle base, it's all you can place (and get on top of) into a triangle slice, which is all you usually have room for if you're properly supporting triangle floors above (no pillars as of yet, walls or doorways needed). It's possible you may be able to place boxes and cupboards prior to putting down the walls, haven't tried... I do know they can overlap a little if you place them after the fact, but there's not much room to work with.

Use your door as a stair.
