Yo. I've downloaded the new update and restarted steam, but couldn't log in. I've tried deleting all of Steam and re-installing it to connect but encountered the same.
It's "Steam could not connect to network error".
Anyway I can fix this?
<<EDIT: Fixed by removing every file except for Steamapps folder and steam.exe and then starting the Steam.exe>> Requesting mod to lock.

steam was down for a few minutes. for future reference, facepunch cant help out at all with steam issues. use this site next time : http://steamstat.us/
