    That IP at least recently hosted Rust servers. MBAM's probably just considering "random" pings to Russian sites (in reality server pings) as suspicious. Ordinarily if you're in the US and a program's contacting a Russian IP address, that might be a bit odd.

    I knew it was Russians even before clicking the link. Odd isn't it? I think the masterlist should get the player count from the client of legit steam ID players sending their 'OK, I am connected to THIS server' : no more 499/500 players russian fakes etc.

    yep thats what its doing, it is contacting the ip to get server info, which is exactly how the game is supposed to work. i just posted this because it might be interesting so some people, nothing to really worry about.
