Right, let's make the 3D artists fix bugs, that sounds like a fantastic idea. Putting people with little to no coding expertise on the task of coding is the best way to resolve YOUR impatience with an alpha game that's in active development.
Different people on the Rust dev team have different specialties and are working on different things in parallel. If you don't understand the realities of game development, go play something else until the game hits beta and most of these major daily headaches are sorted out.
Seriously, if you're not having fun, it's not a game, it's work. Go play a game that's closer to being finished and is actually fun. Check back in 3 months from now.
Came here to say this... as a new indie developer, I can tell you that I have a guy to handle the art, while I work on code.. very rarely do our paths cross :P
