I think they often get bugged in the current version. I see mindless wolves all the time just standing there.

Broke in one of the updates last week and looks like it hasn't been sorted as of yet - updated my server a few hours ago and pretty sure they are still just standing there

doesn't seem to be every one either. just some stand their deaf and blind.

For the few minutes I played Experimental before switching to Legacy, the animals did not seem to function. I just ran up and bludgeoned them all to death with my rock while they stood there motionless. I'm not sure about the Development branch. I'd swear I remember reading something about where they've fixed that.

it is fixed on the dev branch, most people die from animals a lot on my servers
