    what should Facepunch add/Change or Fix on Rust in your opinion!


    ok here are my 3

    1.Stay on the Buildsystem that is on the Normal Experimental Build
    2. Fix the Memory Leak that gives most Players 3 fps
    3. Add Radtowns

    Remove wolves and bears... replace with awesome Dinosaurs, wolves and bears just arent scary at all... and dinos are more interesting.

    Extremely! expensive airtight under water construction.


    Add in female models so my female friends will play Withought whining about having a penis. But they better be prepared for a shitstorm from idiots when they do.

    2. Better Admin-Tools (Without having to download 3rd party scripts).

    1. new antagonists aka zombie replacements. (Im guessing we are waiting on ai improvements before this happens but who knows)

    2. Take out all modern weapons and leave us with the awesome divinci-punk style weaponry you obtain at the beginning, ala pipe-shotgun.
    3. More of that style of weapon and game-play (which I firmly believe is the most entertaining).

    That said, I think Rust is on a trajectory to being a blast. As much as I'd like certain things, I trust FP to make a great game.

    Cool idea! After crafting some kind of "Zipline deployment" plan you could stand at a high point, aim at a lower point within line of site, and range, (say 200-300m), then fire to deploy the zipline. Love this idea...

    Hand-gliders/base jumping
    Love this idea too. Craft a hang-glider, climb to a high spot and jump off. Use to cover large distances, or to raid enemy bases from above.

    2.That when a game is in alpha for 2+ years they expect some sort of progress, not regression from the product that came out 2 years ago

    3.If they don't know how legitimate game studios function they aren't allowed to complain.

    2. I've been writing a book for 20 years(started at 17), why so long? because as i got older, mature, wiser and better educated i saw new ways of writing my book, new ways of expressing ideas, sometimes i would take a year or two break and then come back and write it all over again. This is the nature of Art, if you're not an Artist then you wont understand this basic principle.
    Inovae Studios has been working on their fantastic space sim game for 7 years, https://www.youtube.com/user/InfinitySupport/featured, sometimes the greatest Art takes the longest time to create. Rushed work gets ruined easily and quickly.

    3. Legitimate Game Studios don't all work to the same rhythm, rules or style.

    1 - add a system of recompense or something like that for people who helping other ( too much kills on sight)
    2 - maybe a system of experience (level up or something like that)
    3 - a lot of mobs , like giants or horror beast ( ;-) ) , this way maybe players can work much together

    1- remove the anticheat to replace it with a better one (i still can't play because of it)
    2- fix all the crazy lag issues (i managed to play on one of the official servers and my game had 5fps and is not my hardware)
    i don't have a 3rd one because i don't know whats new in the game
    And now if someone can help me to solve this problem, three months ago i launched rust and noticed that no servers were listed , i searched on the web bu didn't find anything that could've helped me so i launched the game from the .exe file , the servers were all there but anticheat kicked me from every of them , no one gave me an answer to solve this problem and i'd really like to see how the game become with the new stuff .
    P.S. when i played on one of the official servers i didn't get kicked because for some reason the server didn't have the anticheat actived , on steam someone said that launching the game from the .exe wont load the anticheat and for that reason i know that the server didn't have it.

    Are you running bitdefender? I have this same problem if I have the bitdefender firewall on. I have to completely disable the firewall before everything starts working.

    yes i have bitdefender but i've put rust on the whitelist of the firewall , shouldn't it be working?

    Whitelist in bitdefender did not work for me no matter what I tried. I had to completely disable the bitdefender firewall before it worked.

    I've had all kinds of compatibility issues with bitdefender and other programs.

    ok here are my 3

    3. Add Radtowns
    100% agree with 2 and 3 but the new building system was needed as there was absolutely no balance between gathering--->building---->raiding.

    My #3 would have to be a mapping system. I would lean more towards a player generated map where you have to make the map as you explore.

    Whitelist in bitdefender did not work for me no matter what I tried. I had to completely disable the bitdefender firewall before it worked.

    I've had all kinds of compatibility issues with bitdefender and other programs.
    it finally worked after disabling the firewall , now i can see what's changed in 3 months , thank you

    1. That when higher tier weapons are carried they should be displayed on players backs/holsters, the thing where nakeds can pull m4's out their arses needs to be a thing of the past.

    2. Add the ability to install burglar alarms to your structures so when you are offline at least raiders have more of a challenge when there is the possibility that someone else nearby might come and investigate.
