Hello everyone.
When I am starting the game through steam, no servers show up. Then I started the game through the folder as admin and servers started showing up, but I'm kicked after 10 seconds.
I read that it was because the EAC wouldn't work if the game it self wasn't started through the steam app. So one fix leads to a new problem.
I then tried turning off the Firewall and it seems to "solve" the problem. But really. Turning off the Firewall can't be the best solution.
Anyone out there who know how or what to do with this kind of problem? Is it some issue within the game or is the issue coming from within my computer?
Hope you guys can help and thanks for reading.

I am using Bullguard.
I tried looking through the firewall setting But everything related to rust seems as accepted and allowed

Make sure you've created exceptions for both Rust.exe and RustClient.exe.
Also, windows\system32\EasyAntiCheat.exe

I have now made exceptions for all three. Still won't let me find any servers when starting through steam.
Also, EasyAntiCheat was located in SysWOW64. Is that a problem or just another place it can be?

That's not an unusual location to find it, no.

Any other suggestions then. The exceptions did not seem to be the problem here ?

I'm not a dev, nor am I familiar with that program (not that it's not legit, I just don't know enough about it to know the answer), so I'm not sure.
If Rust will load servers when it's disabled, you don't want to be disabling the firewall all the time, but that tells us that something about the firewall is blocking it.

Thanks anyway for helping me with what you could.
Just hoping someone with knowledge of this will return and reply at some point or a future update will fix it.
