Whenever I try and launch rust the launcher appears, i choose my settings and resolution, hit start, and then the screen flickers black and then crashes to desktop with no error messages. I've logged over 100 hours between both legacy and experimental (mostly experimental) and it is only recently that I've had this issue.

Tried so far:
-driver updates
-full range of graphical settings and resolution choices
-verified game cache
-run both steam and rust in admin mode
-spent hours combing forums looking for solutions

My Specs:
-AMD FX-6100
-64-bit OS
- 8GB RAM
-GTX 560 ti 2GB OC

Any help would be appreciated the new changes look great and i want to give them a try.

this is similar to my problem. put a formal ticket thru to facepunch studios attach output_log.txt which is located in your clientdata folder in the rust folder (in common/steamapps)

solved problem by complete uninstallation of comodo firewall
