Hey guys, I have been tinkering around with OBS and streaming this past week. I have done a couple successful test streams with some single player games and my stream comes out looking pretty darn good.

but for some reason when I try to stream Rust the stream only comes out at about 4fps. My personal framerate is fine, but on the viewer side it is awful (4fps).

I dont think it is my cpu because I watch the load while I am streaming/playing and none of my cores touch over 50% and are usually around 20%.

I am streaming at 720p and have tried bitrates between 2000-3300 (my upload is 6000) and its always the same terrible fps on the stream.

this happens for window capture and monitor capture, game capture doesnt work at all on rust for me.

My specs are as follows: i7 4790k, 8 gigs of 1866, 240g ssd, and a 9800 gtx+ (lol I know, upgrade coming soon)

could it be my GPU? I wasnt inclined to think so because my personal framerates are fine. updated the gpu drivers and didnt seem to help.

Any suggestions?
