    Is there an way to set the transparency?
    With a light background (e.g. winter or desert biome) it's almost unreadable.

    You must be on linux too.

    It's a known issue.

    I have this issue too. It's kept me from playing Rust for a long time.

    With the white background image at startup, you can only join a server, if you already know where the 'connect'-button is:

    Well it's not the cleanest fix in the world... but try this http://utilitron.net/rust/rustGui.css

    Replace the default one in Rust/html/assets/css
