It's not a major issue, I believe the issue is you just forgot to put in the "exp" VTF within the "skyrim" folder of the release, that's really what's making it do it.

oh, there's another one I forgot to mention, apologies -- The clotheswrp VTF is also not in the Skyrim file, which is making it have this really ugly effect. Although, I have no idea why you're using a lightwarp as it doesn't need it.

That's good! I wasn't sure or not, because I'd already manually fixed it myself and kinda didn't bother checking the download itself, so that's probably my fault there.

Anyhow, this is critique coming up, but please don't take it as a thing where it's like I'm bashing you, don't like coming across that way and don't want to seem that way. Just an FYI.

Onwards, the release is fairly solid. Not much that's too terribly bad, some rigging errors hither and thither, but nothing to fret over. However, there are a couple of things that should be addressed with the release, one of them being smoothing groups. I've noticed that you don't or seldom mess with the smoothing groups, as the sword that's in its sheathe/scabbard looks like it has its blade on one smoothing group, which makes this strange effect that looks horrible. I would really try to fix that up, because a lot of smoothing errors are about on this model, although I haven't tried decompiling and pinpointing where these errors are. Otherwise, seems fairly solid.

VMTs are what I'd suggest you'd look over again and again. The phongfresnelranges, [.5, 1, 11], isn't exactly the best. Again, this makes an extremely strange slope, as the slope comes very early as told from the Y of the Fresnel ranges. I have to keep hammering it, decimal places aren't always the best. I'd go with [5 7 8] since the slope isn't so strange and it actually keeps it reasonable and good within Source. Not only that, you also have this tendency to make it so you comment out the phongexponent. I don't know why you do this, but don't. I don't really know why you do it, but it probably either does with the phongexponenttexture or lightwarptexture and you thinking it may just dictate how it works, which isn't the truth.

The lightwarptexture is something that's very unnecessary, in my opinion. It doesn't add much and removing it doesn't do anything major. I'd suggest removing it entirely because I see no other point in having it. It's wasting stuff performance-wise and adds no benefits and unless it's a stylistic thing, like Team Fortress 2 and how it has a purple sort of shadow. So really, no benefit nor detriment from having it removed since Witcher doesn't really have a lightwarp.

And just for the sake of never having that kind of issue that'd actually be a pain, try to just have a universal folder called "shared" and stuff your phongexponent within that folder since it doesn't necessarily need to be in every folder, instead just truncate it to one universal folder that's accessible and easy to find.

Other than that, solid release! Again, I'm not just saying this to lash out at you, just wanna give honest critique without another argument that would make us both look stupid.
