    Hello. I try play all servers but if i die and respawn LOADING is stuck on "RECEIVING SNAPSHOTS" and nothing. Some times write in console DROPPING EFFECT GENERIC. Now i cant play all servers but my frends play. I try uninstall and install game but problem stay.

    I'm having the same issue, tried 2 official servers and both are stuck at #Receiving Snapshots

    I too am having the same issue. When I attempt to go to the official seattle server, the screen hangs at the "LOADING #RECEIVING SNAPSHOTS" page. I also have uninstalled the client, deleted the rust directory, and reinstalled the client and still get the same problem.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you very much for your time.

    Game used to freeze at receiving snapshots, now it gets to where it says #SNAPSHOTS and #ENTITIES and that starts counting up then just stops and nothing happens and I have to ALT+F4.

    If I watch my windows bandwidth in task manager, RustClient starts downloading at around 3.0mb/s for a few seconds, then drops to 1.5mb/s and stays there while I'm stuck at #SNAPSHOTS # #ENTITIES #

    At this time my connection gets bad, my teamspeak 3 connection info shows anywhere from 5-50% packetloss for as long as I leave the game open and let it keep trying to connect while it's downloading SOMETHING at 1.5mb/s. I left it open for 15 minutes and it was still downloading but never gets by that part.

    Here is my output_log.txt I hit f1 and typed quit after a minute or so of it not connecting.

    I was able to join 3 different servers no problem at first after today's update. Then while running my game locked up. When I try to rejoin I'm once again stuck on #SNAPSHOTS #ENTITIES screen.

    After 3 more tries I'm able to get back in, but I'm sleeping on the ground and wake up doesn't work. So I have to do kill / respawn in console which then initiates the snapshots thing again and then my internet starts downloading at 1.5mb/s and never gets past that part, but continues downloading indefinitely until I finally close the game.

    Edit: After multiple tries I managed to get back in (FacePunch Washington) upon getting close to the satellite dish and where my friend was again, I randomly teleported to a Wake Up screen somewhere else holding a rock with a sleeper in front of me, I can't wake up, all I can do is kill in console and either respawn or I'll get stuck at the snapshots thing again.

    Please fix this game breaking bug :(

    I've seen alot of threads talking about this bug, as it is game breaking for anyone encountering it.. and the trend I've noticed is that every time someone posts their system specs they have an amd cpu. Do you have an AMD processor by chance as well?
    Apparently the respawn bug is known and isn't related. I put in a report and somebody explained why this happens: http://support.facepunchstudios.com/...u-are-sleeping

    My system specs: Intel i7-2700k - Asus p8z77-v le - nvidia gtx 970 - corsair force gs ssd - windows 8.1 x64

    As far as the Snapshots thing and not getting into the server, I was able to get in more than half the time yesterday. I noticed in one of the patch notes that they split snapshots into smaller segments which is probably why I was having better luck, seems to be an internet connection issue perhaps. However today I switched to the full experimental branch so that I got the latest updates and now I can't get into the server at all. The only difference is my internet isn't downloading anything at 1.5mb/s like the last times it would get stuck there, it's just pretty much doing nothing and won't go any further.

    On only 1 of the 3 machines I have access too does a new install work with the official servers. all three have fresh installs of rust.

    all of them seem fine on public servers though
