If Rust was a Korean MMORPG run by people who only gave a shit about making money, that attempt at a frame up would have worked. I know as a friend of mine in a different game fell victim to an even worse attempt(for the record, the person in question was a level capped character, they got a temp ban for harassing people when in fact the actual harasser was a newly crated character with the same name, just with a _ in the name......). Not on topic I know and apologize.
