Post #1So, I was wondering... Why I can't find a list of the official server providers in playrust.com? I know there is a list in Rust Wiki (http://playrustwiki.com/wiki/List_of_Server_Providers) but it is updated? Is it official?
The only authorized servers providers are in the Wiki list? Why there is no info here in forum about it?
I'm a little lost, can some1 help me out?

gameservers.com is pretty good, Good with support also

It's mostly updated. Watch out with false providers selling cracked servers.I assume you are from brazil so the ONLY south america and brazil rust GSPS (host provider) is gameservers and it's backordered only for now.
You can always ask in this forum for a review before buying anything though <3

I have one server in "FPS", and It's pretty good soo far (also in the wiki list).
My doubt was about the wiki itself. I don't know who puts the info in there and if it is trustable.
I also don't understand why there are no official topic about it in here! There are soo many unofficial server providers that I think it would be a good idea to make one fix topic about it.
The playrust.com also don't provide any list... It's kind weird to let all that info about official server providers only in a WIKI site...

Everyone can edit that wiki and i agree. there should be an oficial list in here however the only person who could possible make this topic would be the majestic garry himself.
If you are not sure if the server provider is legit or not you can always create a topic in here and ask the customers a review.

The OP is looking for an official/reliable list of official GSPs. Stop advertising random GSPs.

Did you notice the OPs nickname and his country flag? Streamline Servers doesn't even offer servers anywhere in South America. *facepalm*

What's the point of mentioning GSPs that are already on the list the OP provided a link to in his first post?

Yes sir, you are correct. I already have a server hosted in one provider that i found in WIKI.
But my question is much more about how tha hell we don't have any official post, info or list about it? I mean, WIKI is PUBLIC and any1 can put info in there... that is not trustable at all...
There are soo many "official" providers that don't even are in WIKI list.
Why Garry does not creat a page we can found the offcial providers? Why no one has talked about this before?

I absolutely agree, there definitely should be an official list of authorized GSPs by Facepunch themselves. As you already suggested, a sticky thread would be sufficient.

not really. There is no actual official list, just the one provided in the wiki, which is not managed by facepunch

That is one big mistake from Facepunch in my opinion... game has been on for months by now... and no official list... sad.

The devs have more important things to care about. As soon as they start an official list, it becomes their responsibility to keep it updated.
They have more than enough to do with actually making the game.
