Female models are an art asset that really can be put off until late development stages assuming their new animation system works out.
Frankly, the devs have yet to iron out the basic gameplay, which should most definitely be taking priority, IMO.

Why would the 3D artists be working out kinks in the gameplay code? There are different people in different roles working on different parts of Rust simultaneously. You only see what goes into the public builds to get tested right away.

Artists wouldn't be working out code, obviously. But surely there are features of the game, either on a local build, or as concept, that have yet to have assets created for them. I would suspect those would take higher priority than effectively reskinning the player model which isn't immediately crucial to driving development forward.

I disagree with everyone saying that it would make it a porn game. There is a difference between nudity and porn. Besides that we have a nude male model, NOT to increment a nude female model would be kind of sexist.
However Allexx suggestion seems kind of too much for me. The man got very small manparts so they are not all over the screen, the same should be with the woman. Small boobs, small ass, but muscles, because it is a survival game.

the man got a small penis because thats what a penis does when exposed to cold and prolonged nudity, shrink (thats the average and more practiucal penis type). and because there is no reason to be a big willy in this environment.

Two ways to look at this...
First off it's a double standard... It's ok to have a nude man running around killing and pillaging whatever he pleases, but heaven forbid a nude woman...
Second way to see it, and it relates to the first somewhat. Unfortunate the maturity level of most players makes having a nude female in the game an impossibility. When females get coded into the game, it will be after the final models are done and skinned to cover any of the kiddies giggle parts.
Personally it takes more than a nice rack to get my attention, but sadly the same can't be said for %99 of teenagers or young men. I see too many problems with introducing a naked female model. The press and wacko groups like PTC would have a field day with this.....

Yeah this game is a little overboard already. I'm pretty sure if you can comprehend that shooting a guy in the face when you lay eyes on him is wrong, sticking your dick inside something screaming "NO NO" and kicking you (in the face) is ALSO wrong.
In either event if you can't comprehend that first bit or have a problem with it, you're in the wrong crowd. Perhaps Minecraft or ROBLOX would suit your needs better?

Im not against the idea of having Female Nude Models, but if Female Models are added the Nudity should gone.
Obviously YouTube and other platforms have the option to mark content as Adult Only, but doesn't justify the idea to add Naked Girls.
Also, i would like to see the game with Female and Male chars but with clothes obviously, because i don't feel like watching kids get excited to buy a game that isn't for their age (I get it, it generates Money for sure). Nowdays parents just buy the game because their kids lied about the content of it, thing that is really sad because some parents don't take the time to review the content on videos.
But Rust isn't a game that has as Objective to provide XXX resources for non +18 users.
Call me dumb, whatever you want but adding Female chars should come with Removing Nudity off the game.

If the game has a Rating applied to it let's say for e.g: +18 and your son is 13 the one who did the wrong thing is you(dad/mom) by buying him the game, when the developers have said the game isn't for a 13 years old kid.

If it's alright to show cock, i see no problem showing pussy...its just a question of is there a reason for the nudity at all;)

No women can look like that without testosterone abuse, its as simple as that. We don't need disgusting looking women to make them ethically correct or some shit. The male has model like proportions and I don't see why the women shouldn't as well (within reason). The game wouldn't be more immersive with ethically friendly non-sexualisable men (pretend this is a world where an ethically friendly male is a fat ass who sits on the computer all day, even though nobody has ever cared about ethically friendly male character models) and its the same with women.

Also about all this "we can't have women because you can do nasty things in rust", you should be ashamed of yourself. Are you so fucking deluded you think that killing other men all day is acceptable, but somehow killing women is completely morally wrong and such women shouldn't be added to the game? Killing a male and a female are equally wrong, yet due to our society people have enough empathy for women dying (and none for males) that they truly believe the idea of killing women in videogames is offensive.

I guess i'll weigh in on this, since I think a good number of people by now know im female on here by now.
I personally prefer to play male character models in most games, mainly do to the overblown massive tits and revealing armor you end up having to deal with in most games playing a female character, but partially just my personal preference, just like some guys I know prefer to play a normal female character when given the option
It would be nice if rust could have a female model, I know a lot of people (male and female) who prefer to play a female character, sexualized or not.
So long as I can't snap her waist with a twig I don't care too much, but as clothing is developed it would be nice for it to be similar to the male versions, just adapted a little for a female body type, and if the female model could be athletic, rather than a porn star that would also be fantastic.
Not holding out any major hopes though with the main base of this game being what it is.
They certainly don't need to be added this early, a female model is a pretty aesthetic element, something that once a lot of other things are worked out could easily be added later.
