    Hey guys,
iam admin on a server and saw someone using this bug.... you can see through wall, place your sleeping bag there, then take everything and put a wood storage half-in half-out so you can take the loot after youre out again.....
you have to change something in the config file, he said!
ngcconfiguration.000.unity3d and change Woodwall to Woodwal1 or something like that- so that woodwalls become invisible for you and that u can place a sleeping back there .... he made a screenshot cause i wanted to post this here, so i can get fixed soon!

Because you have to edit a file to achieve the effect described, it is actually classified as a deliberate exploit. It has been mentioned in the exploit subforum, and has been known for some time. If memory serves, people have received VAC bans due to the modification of files, though those reports could simply be rumors. Either way, it is known and will be dealt with eventually.

Any modifying of the game files is considered a hack and the person will be banned by VAC on the next wave.

I've actually seen this happen on my base, it was very late night so I wasn't in the server when it was morning I joined Rust and joined the server that I was playing in yesterday and my house was like filled with sleeping bags everywhere, my all items were gone...

Anyways isn't ngcconfiguration.000.unity3d considered as a config file?
Because I've read the rules of vac and there it clearly sais that you're allowed to edit config files http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1906399 - OK with VAC: Editing config files

Nope, changing a letter in a word file will not lead to any sort of vac ban. This is easy to do and nonpunishable atm. Rust validates the texture files but only checks the file size rather then its integrity.
