IGotWorms, did you ever think that people who have a VAC ban on their account or another account entirely might want to hide it because, if they didn't, people (like you) go on a crusade about their being a witch and everything they say, regardless of the content, is just blasphemous devil-hacking propaganda?
If you harass everyone who has an A, don't be surprised when people decide not to tell you that they have an A.

IGotWorms found plenty of evidence for an internet forum to lead us all to believe Bushiman is cheating, if the video was not enough. You think IGotWorms would have made fake accounts....seriously man go read that thread again and see which story seems more plausible. You seem overly eager to want to believe people who have plenty of evidence they are dishonest.
And you AmagicalFishy...Propaganda? Really, Valve shows VAC bans publicly (even with private profiles) so we all can make judgments. The entire system is based on reputation and it supposed to be used to judge other players. The coolest thing about VAC bans is they are really easy not to get.. don't cheat genius! It's amazing how you act like cheaters are a victim when they are the dumb asses that got the ban. I always wondered why Valve does not show what game VAC bans are from but it's probably on purpose to warn everybody that they could be cheating on any game so it does not matter.
Seriously you two, go look through the threads for the last 4 months and see how many cheaters come on here lying just saying their good until they have to admit it because of proof. Hell just look at the cheatpunch thread you yokels.
I can say one thing, the ones that finally do admit it I respect way more.

There is no evidence at all for bushi cheating, only that he cheated in the past... which could be faked. And if not it might not be relevent to rust. Even if he WAS vac banned on rust, he got a new account and is playing perfectly fine without being vacced again so.. Like I stated before im not really saying he cheats or not. Just from the facts given, its not enough proof. Just you guys assuming you know, but you dont.
Im not saying IGotWorms framed him and I dont believe he did. But someone can. If people go around ddosing servers when they are mad. They certainly can cheat and change their name+steam picture.

You can't hide a VAC ban and you should NEVER be able to thats just dumb. Witch hunt or not if you hack on your account it SHOULD be flagged for all to see. By your logic no one should fear a sex offender in their neighborhood cause he only molested children once.

If Bushiman could legitimately pull off the kind of shooting in that video he would never have needed to cheat in the past, hence would not have a VAC record.
So he was cheating then and he is cheating now. Just hasn't been caught yet.

That first video makes me cry. The problem is that the game is poorly optimized as other have said. Aiming for ones head on my comp often gives me a blood splash with no hit marker. The desync is horrendous. I am not sure if any of these guys are hacking, but the first one. However, it is crazy how they get head shot after headshot assuming the game runs for them like it does for me. /shrug

The thing is you have no idea what that vac ban was for. It could have had nothing to due with aiming. Meaning a map hack or gamma or some other bullshit. And its possible that account isnt his. Stop making assumptions.

I didn't question the content of Bushiman's videos. I'm not gonna scan through them frame by frame either and exclaim, "Ha ha! See...hax!" Other people can argue that if they want.
The plain and simple is that I caught him flat out lying though and the only reason he would have to lie is if he was also cheating. He claims the VAC'd Steam account with his name and youtube channel logo wasn't his. He claims the account he says is his which is very new, is his one and only account yet he has videos on his own Youtube channel of him playing Steam games and those videos are older than his "only" Steam account. Now, I'm not a math genius but...pretty sure that doesn't "add up." He knows he was caught lying and still denies it with his very convincing argument of, "Nuh uh, I don't hack. Get guud kid." He literally doesn't care and people will still defend him despite the fact. Proof right here.
That's fine though. It's his prerogative. I don't hate him for it, just pointing out he's full of crap. I'm not gonna tell anyone that they "can't" cheat in Rust. Because they can and they do. I'm sure Valve and Facepunch welcome his extra donations though. You could ironically almost argue the hackers in Rust are supporting the game more than the actual, legit players.
As far as streamers in general, yeah...some cheat. Not all of them do. Arguing percentages or ratios is silly. Some get caught. Some don't. Some just have a steady stream of disposable accounts. The smart ones only cheat on their disposable accounts, and maintain a hack free account with X years of service so everyone knows how "legit" they are while they're actually streaming on their alt accounts.

You saying this reminded me of how Keemstar got VAC banned in the very, very first wave and contacted Garry on Twitter hoping for an unban and was professionally and politely denied.

Encyclopedia Dramatica can tell you more than you'd want to know about him, but long story short, after an illustrious career of generally being a poster boy for obnoxious and moronic YouTube LPers on other games and platforms, he found Rust.
He organized raids on YouTube against people who raided him (fairly, this is back in the day before widespread hacks) in-game because he was butthurt, and then backpedaled as he always does.
And then reports of him and his group of frequent on-stream partners hacking started coming up. He denied everything. Theeeeennn...

Please note: The circled tweet does not mean "Thanks for unbanning me," as Keem's account with Rust on it remained VAC banned well after that tweet. It means "Okay, the situation has been resolved." Resolved meaning, he's been told. But, he didn't want to admit that to his fans, so he was veeeeeeeery selective in his tone.
Just a note, Encyclopedia Dramatica only notes that Keemstar "suddenly stopped" playing and publishing videos about Rust, but don't note why. Well, this is why.
