Indeed some nice skills with shotgun. Most people just get scared and shoot on the foot or try a headshot with a shotgun. You did a straight and perfect chest shoot.
Also loved how you did not killed the naked guy.

The point of this video is to say fuck you to all the pussys that kill nakeds in rust cause they can't kill people with gear that could actually fight back. Nothing more annoying than dying to a geared guy when you are just trying to farm some basic shit with a rock... More people need to start doing this so maybe the noob killers grow a pair and move to bigger threats.

I dont think so.. They were chasing him hard and i'm 200% sure they would not hesitate in killing him. He was not the one chasing he was the one being chased by 3 guys with leather + shotguns.

not really, pretty sure they thought he was any easy target. If they really thought he was a threat they would have approached him differently. It was like he was ringing the dinner bell for hungry wolves by saying he had nothing.

I think what people mean by "You're the reason people KOS" is something like:
Rust is a game where you can't trust anyone. While you might be friendly enough to not KOS everyone, a lot of "nakeds" who're loaded with a shotgun will not hesitate to yell "I'm friendly, I have nothing!" and then slam you with a shotgun blast.
I understand, though, that these three guys were pretty far away... and there were three of them; they were very obviously the aggressors.

I can understand raiding a base for supplies or to eliminate a threat, but if I'm some naked guy and I get spotted by a heavily armed/armored person, there is literally no reason to kill me.
MAYBE I'm some sort of scout. Okay. I can get that. But if some 14 year old kid is talking shit on the mic while he kills my naked savage self, there will be consequences.
And the entire "KOS" thing - that's pretty realistic. If someone wants to go out taking from others, they aren't going to take prisoners.

Nah, not like he ran up to them yelling friendly and then whipped out the shotgun. They attacked him (to be fair he was clearly looking for trouble but the point stands).
The people who run up yelling friendly, those I shoot. If they keep their distance, don't have anything obviously worth stealing (or if I'm in a good mood) they get to live. Works for me, I've yet to be killed by an "unarmed" naked in 300 hours playing rust.

well thats exactly what i am saying. they attacked HIM because no matter if you are naked or not its never save to say that you are no threat. when weapon holstering will be implemented so you can tell what guns someone is carrying it will be much easier to judge whether to shoot or not to shoot someone. considering they sounded like 12 and got owned 1v3 tho I would say they were just greedy kids. but yeah. I enjoy shooting everyone who asks friendly in the head :) not my problem. I kill everyone. too often have i got robbed or backstabbed or 5v1'ed while trying to farm on a new server. shit like that. but yeah I am tired of the usual servers where you need to farm 6 hours to get decent stuff and then most likely get reset back to 0 in the process unless you are a big group and can make a big hosue fast. I am only playing on "economy" servers now where you get cash for killing people. my stats:

In rust you can make a judgement call on killing someone.
That naked who turned up near the end of the video? Guy in the video played it exactly like I would. Keep the gun on them, tell them to get lost. They draw a gun or fail to obey, they will die.
Like I said, hasn't failed yet.

Or they thought that he was a player who held some items? If there was a visual clue when a player had a weapon on their hotbar, those bandits would've known he was a threat. Since there aren't any visual clues, those bandits have to shoot everybody, or risk a naked sneaking up on them and blasting them away with a hidden rifle (which is exactly what the recording player would've done had those bandits ignored him and turned their backs to him.)

I find that highly unlikely in most scenario's though. Approaching three individuals who are clearly armed, out in open field with no cover, and you're wearing no armor? This clearly looked to me like human bait. Exposing your location, wait for the approach, call out just as a wounded animal would, then kill your aggressors. Which they deserved, as would anyone, who instead of progressing on your way decided that a single naked individual was worth killing. To claim he would have approached the trio and attempted to kill all three is unreasonable considering a few factors. He would have exposed his armor-less body into an open field similar to a shooting range with no long ranged weaponry, no way to heal himself, no cover close enough to return to, no recourse after attempting to kill one, possible attacks from three people simultaneously, didn't kill the naked individual who approached afterwards. Just like fishing, if they don't bite you don't jump into the water and attempt to catch one with your hands, you reel in your bait and toss your line again.

Well, that's definitely a threat, so charge at one of them and kill him, now got a clear angle to get some distance. You don't want to stand still and try to fight them off because they will swarm you.
Run to a gap between 2 tall rocks or similar, forces them to come through that gap, easier target. Shoot one or two and keep running. Repeat with more gaps until they are all dead or have stopped chasing.
Its not that I won't kill nakeds, just not unless I need to (or they are bugging me or something :P)

One time I was in radtown with a buddy and some leather guys came up to me and killed me. Then my friend placed a shack over a loot crate and a door and opened it, then got their attention and ran inside. Generally people see these and think nothing of it. So the leather ran inside to blast my buddy, and he locked him inside. The leather guy was trapped and HIS buddy killed MY buddy and broke him out. If we lived closer we might have been able to kill them.
