    Hello!

I played this game for more than 3 months. The game concept is really good, I had a lot of fun, even with all this cheaters around.

This game reached his prime in the market too soon. They sold more than 800k copies, there is almost 15k people playing the game all time. This is more than other big franchises out there. The reality, the hard truth is: Don't expect much from Garry anymore.

His last answers in the threads then his rant post on the news showed us that they are a little lost in the development process. I'm a developer, I'm aware of the difficulties, but what I see here is not a development team in trouble, is a team that doesn't care to his customers.

We have no official feedback about the game development. Please, don't post those images about the new UI, because those images are old, Garry used them two times to justify the delay in new updates.

Garry, I sincerely hope I'm wrong. But you have to talk with your customers, if you stay quiet, you will ruin our confidence, as players and customers, in you. That means any future project you launch, people will point the finger and say: "That's the man who abandoned Rust". If you post the same screenshots and the same allegations, then you are still quiet.

If you want to abandon Rust, please, be honest with us.

In case you haven't noticed, He is giving us an update every Friday. (No not game update. A Development update.) Also, I don't think they will abandon Rust, that's just stupid. If they would do that I would think they will get lots of legal trouble. And yes I know games have been abandoned before but not usually to this extent.

Branching on from that, GMod (which also wasn't supposed to be a big thing, just a small project that blew up) was continually developed and updated for like 8 years. I doubt they'll just bail on it.

I like the progression. Slow and easy. I'm promised and end game copy. No complaints, here.

What they look like is a company that has a prototype which exploded in popularity beyond their wildest expectations. From the communication so far it is clear that they have had to make some big decisions about code. Right now they should be busy refactoring or rewriting code that already exists so that they have a solid base. This is a major task. Without any insider knowledge about the code, it would seem like a task that would be measured in weeks, not days. Once they have the foundation stable (and readable) then I would expect delivery of features and content on a more regular basis.

Also, having seen some of the stuff that is thrown at Garry on these forums and the dev blog comments... well I would have been a lot ruder than Garry has been.
