The admin on the server I played on told me earlier this week that Facepunch sent out a notice to his Server Provider saying that a game update was gonna be released, "any day now," can anyone confirm whether or not Facepunch does this kind of notice to SPs, and, if they do, and this rumor is true, wouldn't it make sense for the update to come out tomorrow, since Garry committed to weekly communication on Fridays at the very least?

Please share your thoughts/predictions/findings below. Thanks!

As an admin, I have yet to see any kind of service providers awareness that an update is coming

I'm not sure if they warn any admins at all, but that is a good question, since as far as I know, the vast majority of updates do not require a wipe.

But this next one with new GUI and all that stuff might be different. I don't know, do we have any admin here who already experienced a wipe forced by an update? Did they warn you before?
