You should get +1 health point to maximum health for every 12 or 24 hours you managed to stay alive to the server you play. With the maximum health limit of 200 health points in total. The increase of maximum health should be permanent and should survive death.
This would add RPG elements to the game and reward players for avoiding death.

Nope, personal experience and rewards you get while staying alive are enough.

That would be stupid. People would just glitch into rocks or something to hide, and stay there for a week.

Bad call, imo... All it does is further widen the gap between people who have been in a server for weeks and someone just starting.

The great thing about Rust is that at any given time the king of the server could be reduced to a beggar, this would break that, or at least weaken the mechanic.

Now if only they paired this feature with something that make you die over time... O WAIT, I remember now, hunger.

Why would the effect survive death? Camp in this life to receive super health in the next life? No thanks.

Ciaphias, I recognize your name from MO. If this feature was implemented pvpers would have to afk overnight to be able to pvp in the morning, just like in MO.

people who play one week on the same server and have gathered 50000 wood or more should get 100 c4 for free. With maximum of 200 c4 in total. You should get another 100c4 on top of that for every further day you play. this will add RPG elements and promote farming, turtling and depopulating the server. all in all I think it will help make it impossible to play for freshspawns.

I wouldn't mind seeing something along these lines, but I believe your health should reset to the base value of 100 if you die. This gives more of an incentive to staying alive rather than thinking oh I have no food I may as well just suicide and re spawn with half my hunger bar full. It doesn't have to even be health increase related but some reason for staying alive would be nice in a survival game and make people question putting them selves in danger.

For example I see way to many people go out naked with a pickaxe and comes back with resources risking nothing even if they have enough gear there is little point in risking it as dieing has no consequence beside loosing a pickaxe. If staying alive is suddenly important that wearing that bit of extra armor might become worth it.
