So i found this game Rust. I bought it and i was fangirl cheering. I was playing and i was like "OMG this game rocks" After 10 hours of gameplay i got a gun, got into a few fights, and even got a clan ! The only problem was i have no aim... Yes, you know where am i going now... hacks... I know i should never do that... i got banned by VAC. I regret the moment i even think about hacks. So i created a new steam account, bought a new copy of game and said myself "I will never ever hack again, i won't ruin game, there are other people too... Maybe after time i will learn to play this game." After 3 hours of happines gaming i left the PC, Rust was still on, when i returned and i tried to connect... I GOT A VAC BAN AGAIN ! FOR WHAT ? FOR PROMISING I WILL NEVER HACK AGAIN AND PLAY FAIR ? FOR BUYING A NEW COPY ? FOR GIVING YOU MONEY I COULD GIVE TO CHARITY ? So tell me why ? Why ? Why ? It's just a game, but a game that ruined my life more than WoW

Your probably never uninstalled your old hacks. So your out of luck you need to buy the game again. Make sure to remove everything and hope the cheats you installed are also not stealing your bank account information.

Something here isn't right, VAC doesn't ban right away, it bans in waves that are usually weeks apart.
Nonetheless, cheat programs should not be trusted. I would not be surprised if it was injecting itself even without turning it on.

Well shocker, you downloaded shady software off the internet and now can't get it to stop messing with your .exe files? Oops.

You know what, your best bet is to just entirely wipe your computer and reinstall Windows.
It's an extreme measure, but if you want to play Rust and know that you won't get banned for some stupid malware that you installed alongside the cheat software then it's your safest bet.

yeah most likely there is reminiscence of the hacked software still on the PC and VAC found it and banned you. And it doesn't always take "weeks" for waves to go out. It depends on certain things. Like if you and I, and 10 other people all downloaded the same CHEAT and used it.. VAC "shouldn't Ban us all at the same time" however we will all get banned.. But that doesn't mean that a few of us wouldn't get banned ASAP. There's just no "timer" listed on when bans hit.

So you're having problems uninstalling the hacks you downloaded. We can't really help you there. You should ask for assistance uninstalling your hack from the website you downloaded it from.

Considering you brought this on yourself in the first place, I believe you have bigger problems than having spent 38 Euros on games you've been VAC banned from if this is "ruining your life". And that this "ruined your life" more than WoW did.
Which means WoW ruined your life for less than 38 Euros.

Caps lock will not help and solve your problems here,no one in this forum got ability to control VAC.You probably posted on this forum before with another account.And probably asked for VAC ban lift.
You ruined your life actually,you have downloaded that "cheat" and brought this on yourself fella.You should really donate some of your money to charity,otherwise you will make Garry even more rich in time.

After uninstalling, reformatting, wiping, partitioning or whatever else before reinstalling. I would also run the computer through the dishwasher just to make sure its nice and clean.

lol a hacker qq'ing, it's like breaking the law and telling the judge please forgive me, I knew killing was wrong but I just wanted to kill once, I'll never do it again.
It's like if Hitler got captured after WW2 and had a speech about how sorry he is and about how if they let him go he'll be nicer to people. You knew hacking was wrong but you did it anyway why should anybody ever give you the time of day?

Its ok guis she is a gamer girl, as men of the internet we need to get lulsec to hack VaC and unban her.

maybe the hack had a virus that injected itself into the rust client meaning vac will always see it as game files changed resulting in vac ban
