Post #1Hello, I purchased Rust back when they were giving out keys, now it seams that FacePunch studios has migrated Rust onto steam, I was wondering if there was anyway I could use my Rust key to buy Rust on steam, or if I have to "re-buy" Rust on steam.

Read the sticky, there's some info in there regarding migrating to Steam.
From what I understand you have to log into the old playrust site and plug in your key there to get a Steam key.... I could be wrong, but check out the stickies, they have the info for you in there somewhere.

If you already received a key from the auction but haven't gotten it converted to a steam key, you'll need to activate it here and convert it by clicking the STEAM KEY tab at the top of the page after you've registered on the site using the key you got from the auction. Then go to the games tab at the top of your steam browser, click activate a product on steam, and follow the steps using the key you get from the steamkey page. Then restart steam to make it show up in your steam games library page.

Lol don't worry about it, it ain't no thang.
If you want to do something for everyone on the forum then read the rules stickies very very thoroughly... new people often get run through the gauntlet just for not reading the rules.
It's nice to not get banned for dumb things.
