I know I kos because some naked will say, "FRIENDLY!" only to have me turn around and have an arrow fly by me or a badly aimed bullet. KOS everyone.

Seconded. I think this is in development right meow, at least according to their Trello page.
I hope there's gonna be the possibility for concealable weapons along with this. Sawn-off shotty underarm, shank in the side of your boot etc.
I just recently started to bc of what so many other people have experienced. You try and help out new spawn and they eventually try and attack you. This way, I take them out and let them spawn somewhere else
I always wondered - if ppl rly r a fresh spawn why do they cry about being killed? I mean u lose nothing. Or is it your ego crying that u got killed? I mean what is the problem?
Essentially, Rust turns the warm hearted, starry eyed philanthropist into a cold, unfeeling survivalist, and people who don't immediately pose a benefit become obstacles or dangers to the wellbeing of their livelihood.
I've got lots of fat to keep my heart warm though, so I'll still help out a naked, even if it means getting pipe ganked. That's why I leave my valuables at home until I have enough to where it's not too much of a loss.

I think the main issue is gathering resources, almost having enough to get a good start, only to be headshotted from 200 yards away or robbed at shotgunpoint. I know how much it sucks gathering a full stack of wood w/ a stone hatchet over the course of 10 minutes, only to have it robbed from me in a split second by someone with a better weapon than me.
twice I got shotguns and ammo from crates on a well populated server and got killed by people with rocks, once, because of lag and maybe hacking, I couldn't hit him at all.
Second time, I scored several hits but he didn't die and killed me in the end.
that kinda does it for me, gonna take a break and come back when things improve.
I agree with this 100% but I'm not gonna lie, Target practice with the bolt is always a HUGE plus... and fun!
