Today I just bought the game on steam and started on a modded server with an already playing friend. We've made a house and all, died, got our stuff taken, etc. We then left for 3 hours and i Google'd "free rust cheats" because i was so mad ,we lost all our stuff and we found one an decided to download it.We tried to inject that into the game and when we get back I, and only I, can't join some servers because of (facepunch_connector_VAC_banned) showing, although I can join some others

No they should be able to keep playing as long as they keep paying. Not all cheaters are necessarily the "aggressive" types (going after others). Some cheat to not get killed and avoid every other player (its a rarity but it exists).

As long as he keeps filling the companies pockets he can keep trying to cheat, hes providing more hack information to vac, and filling peoples pockets in the process. its a win win

Maybe there is random bans because VAC isn't perfect and this is the only place people can reach out to contest that.

I was just banned for no reason i was pvping with my video camera running and BOOM!! banned for no reason.I have this on video so if you work for facepunch i will send u it. I am running on a mac i did nothing wrong and i am really mad. I was hoping that you could watch these 2 videos and maby clear something up and tell me why I am banned or unban me. Thank you for your time.

Try and join an official server. If it works, you were server banned by the server admin and there isn't anything anyone but that admin can do about it. Facepunch can't unban you, Valve can't unban you, and it's the admin's server so they can do what they want.

Are there even cheats for macs? Anyways, from the lack of knowledge of screenshots, I doubt you are vac banned. Just press F1 and tell us what text is there when you fail to connect. (what you posted was the connect screen, when you are in rust that is the game, and when you press F1 that is called a console... its a box with a bunch of text)

I'm quite sure that this server admin banned you and lied to you for some reason. Just play in another server :P And to be fair pick one that there's no terrible admins.

I do not think this guy Hugoz was vac banned again for not cheating. This is only a rumor among the CSGO reddit detectives but the word on the street is that VAC is now issuing Hardware ID Bans. Could be true could not be true.

False rumor. Valve only deliever a hardware ban when someone violate steam ToS. It may looks weird to some people but vac and steam have diff ToS and rules. If you break steam ToS you will get your account either suspended/disabled with a mac ban or you get banned from trading,buying, etc only.
