So i came back to rust after a week or two, and i noticed clouds were floating on the sky. lol wat
i typed "env.clouds false" in console, and it doesnt change anything right now.

I got like +7-12 frames thanks to that command, and imho it doesnt affect the gameplay so much

    Whats the point in that?

They spent ages putting in new pretty clouds, so they don't want you turning them off.

When graphics options become more configurable maybe you will be able to again.

The old sky (+clouds) was a terrible performance hog on low-spec graphics hardware (like my machine). Env.clouds was useful then. The new sky does not have the same problem, so there's no longer a need for the command.
