I too am having this issue as of this morning... Im a server admin and cant get on my own server lol. Never had this happen before, whats going on?

Anyone got any idea what's causing this? Several of my friends had this issue earlier, stops them from re connecting for 5-10 minutes and then all is fine again..

Yeah I'm too getting this, I'm re installing now because I can play for like 10 minutes before I get kicked again. When I get kicked I have to wait usually around 10 minutes for joining back again.

Im also having this issue.
Have tried:
Restarting game
Restarting steam
Restarting PC
Changing IP
Checked for CheatPunch ban
Re-installing the game
None of the above make a difference while you are in the "cool down" period...
What could this be? O_o CheatPunch malfunction? It seems to only be for a few people and they seemed to get it starting around the same time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard it's just Steam being dodgy, it'll be fine soon.

It happens every half hour or so and you have to wait 10 minutes to reconnect

the error just came to me and my friend. Our account is still playable with no issues yesterday. Just now it just happened could it have something to do with the new patch?
update: restarting computer seems to repaired it. Try it.

Can we get an answer on this issue? going on 7-8 hours at this point can't play for longer then 10-15mins I'm sure many of us have been raided and/or missed out on many fun times.

I'm getting it as well. I played for well over an hour before I was disconnected for the first time. Now I'm pretty much unable to play for more than fifteen minutes at a time. This is a weird bug and popping up at an odd time.

The game is currently unplayable because of this.

I tried restarting the game and steam to no avail.
I reinstalled hoping it'd fix it, but nope.
As is, I'm pretty much stuck inside my base because there's no point taking anything outside because I'll just end up disconnecting and leaving a sleeper with goodies for someone to find.
Ugh, I won't have the time to play for the rest of the weekend. I was hoping to get my fix in today :(

Yeah. this started happening to me last night, and multiple reinstalls, account change, and more have done nothing at all to solve this. As others have said, it renders the game unplayable, and the total silence from Valve, and Facepunch is starting to piss me off.

That's a shame, Rust is in Alpha ok we all know that, but in alpha devs should make the game better, not worst right? How can they implement something with a big failure like that... WTF Devs!!!!!!

And more than that, ok they commit a mistake.. that's ok but fix that in some minutes, companies like Blizzard or Trion.. or even NCSoft would have fixed that in a matter of minutes.. not days like Facepunch!

Yeah, and if they are struggling to identify or solve the problem quickly, the very least to be done is to let everyone know of the issue and their attempts to solve it.

Seriously guys or staff what working or updating this anticheat,is hard to let us know whats happen or when you fix it or what you doing now,why we are automatically kicked every 15 mins ?I loose stuff out like sleeper,i come here to read or know more about problem,but you dont giving us info about whats happen with this crash,be more profesionally please like anticheat company seriously,seems like 0 support here,i am confused.

After 8 hours of sleep and school I tried again today to play and so far no problems I've been able to play for 3/4 hours straight without getting kicked. I was having it all yesterday...

This has just started to do this to me today. Looks like from the thread it is someone recent, so I would assume they can pinpoint something that happened that causes this. Waiting for our savior!

Just happened to me again, and I was just using a bow to kill a wolf in a field. It's not like the door bug or something like that... nothing we do seems to help.
SAY SOMETHING FACEPUNCH, at least PRETEND to be professionals.

It work great for me. For the pass few day. No errors or anything. I think you guys on here are just hacker that why you guys get this error. You guys got caught for hacking and will be vac ban that all I got to say. That maybe why staff don't want to tell you guys. =D wava ban.

Yeah, and you know it would be OK if Facepunch actually did anything to stop cheaters, but since they're basically useless...it's ANNOYING when they manage to break my games. I should add, this is no longer JUST happening on Rust.
