OK I have a server and Run the Magma Mod... and everytime I update the server, It wipes it... I have Zipped the old files, Server and Magma

Before I attempt it this time I would like some assistance

To be honest it depends on your hosts setup, so their documentation is your best bet.

As a general rule (rough and dependant on host and interface):
Stop server
Backup server
Uninstall mods (Oxide, Magma etc.)
Run steam update
Start server to write configs
Stop server
Install mods
Update plugins if required
Start server

You may also need to repeat the steam update step if there are multiple updates.
