No, on Facepunch, you have to put some effort into your posts if you want to stay here. My question is why do we need a Female Model? We have a male model whoop-de-do, but really I don't care. Something similar like this is happening to the forest where they want the player able to be a girl. The point is it doesn't affect game play what so ever and really has no need to be in there other than cosmetics. (Especially in the forest since you only see a set of hands) If someone could please give me a legitimate reason why there should be a female skin other than Girls want it and to add variety, it would be really appreciated.

What if the only character playable was females with average attractiveness. No men anywhere at all in Rust. None.

You wouldn't request the option if given the opportunity? Also, the reason it comes up in multiple threads is people not searching before posting, but good luck curing that without some good old tyrannical Russian-type style bullshit.

The Rust development wont care but note this. They are fixing client side things and gameplay experience before customization ever occurs. DayZ barely even has any customization untill recently so umm nada appaening.

this ban had nothing to do with his understanding of english, but the content of his post. the mods are here to stop people being dicks. sometimes they are a little strict, but most of the time they do the right thing.

Not a single FP member has replied stating that it is flaccid. There are very minor differences in vaginas, males have way too many differences that is why they all look disgusting. Maybe just a line representing the split of the vagina needs to be added to the player model?

IMO games don't need sex organs at all. A smooth groin area will be best and forcing the pixelated area to give the impression that there is a penis or vagina there (Like Sims).

Garry talks about player custom design, so the ability to add boobs or not, and change bone structure to support female/male design.

If Garry is going to keep penises in Rust, I demand the ability to make Mods that players get boners walking around women, causing them to walk slower. And to top it, the ability to set breast size.

Last weekend my wife and I were talking over brunch and I suggested that if we really wanted to destroy violent crime rates of all types the best thing we could do is send all men aged 15-25 to an island. The survival genre isn't just a guy thing (Sims), even though they are adding M4s and various guns, ladies enjoy gathering resources and building forts. I'll admit, I do not like the weapons and pvp aspect yet. Which again explains why there are so many weapon types, as they are catering (yes, even in pre-release) to a certain type of player (men). And I'm okay with that.

I'd like to say this has to be some of the stupidest of things I have read in a while.
I'll give this the credit it deserves, I agree that there should be more variety in player models and such and that both genders should be in the game.
Here's where the credit ends. Why do people think having a female character in the early alpha version of the game is irrelevant? Because it is, that's why. As a person who enjoys playing video games with anyone and everyone, I can safely say that the most important aspect of a game is not the player models or the gender of said player models. The most that does is scrape the surface of adding to the factor of immersion in a game. The reason 99.9% of people don't care about this is not because of their gender (Which is rather sexist to assume might I add) but because at least most of them care more about the game being improved as a whole. Different types of weaponry, tools, structures, items, are all unnecessary? Actually this is true. There's a lot of elements in games that aren't "Necessary" as you might say. But doesn't that just make your female player model less needed with that logic? Players could consist of floating squares without any animation. It's not needed to have a complicated player model in the first place. But like you say later, they have added more variety to the game to make it more enjoyable. Different weapons make for more complicated and strategic combat, which adds to one of the main factors of the game they have so far, which is PVP. All the different items add to give the game more content, so that you have more than one thing to do and create. Honestly it just seems you have more of a problem with the player model being male than you do the lack of a female player model. You're singling out males for the reason why there's only a male player model and act like we're singling out females. Honestly I gave up halfway through this.

In short: If you have a problem with there only being 1 generic player model and you think it needs to be a priority for an early release game, then you have some serious problems.

as a fellow male, i'm horrified at the stupidity and ignorance shown in this post. if the only player model was a female, would you have even played this game? what character do you play in street fighter or any other game with a choice? we have one player model, and unlike games such as cs, it is blatantly a male character. all she is after is a character model that vaguely resembles her, that she can relate to, and i don't think that's unreasonable. its not a priority, i agree, but i'm not convinced that anywhere in her posts did she say "stop everything and make me a woman", just that it is something important for her to see implemented.
