Good, nice to have another "rust like" game.
Gives some competition, and yes that's good for the players (most of the times)

Same graphics engine. Unity. That is why looks same. And yes, it's good that we have alternative. That will speed up devs to do things.

This looks more like far cry 3 than it does rust, but it still looks pretty cool I'll donate 5$ :D

The forest is a more famous one, i wanted to show a less known game :P
but the forest is a single-player game, not a rust clone (i'm pretty sure they started to develop it before rust) and it will be out with oculus rift support

My point was regarding people who seem to think Unity is extremely limited, when in reality it is one of the most solid engines available, and is really only limited by the talent of your developers.

Has all the things that rust never will have: Gliders, Farming animations, Fishing, Traps, Plane Crashs.
I will buy it ^^

If you read it's clearly not a clone. It's not open world and will have more of a normal FPS match making.
Looks interesting though.

I think they are adding farming animations. I know they are making it so trees fall over.. : / Traps are being added. (Bear Traps) Fishing will probably be added after the new map when there is ponds etc. Gliders I doubt will ever be added (*few*).

The thing is and I am sure many people that have been around the gaming hype for a while SHOULD know by now. What a game looks like in a trailer and what it can REALLY handle when you start throwing people into servers are 2 different things.

This game sounds more like a hunger games concept. You play 'matches', it doesn't look like a persistent world.

The word "matches" was used. If too open world, this might be frustrating. Happy for a FPS Hunger Games game, or a survival game (with farming/fishing/crafting), but I don't think having matches with both components would work.

but looking on that vid you allready can do more things there lol
and this whole matches things that game not builds to survival but on PvP so no Thankyou

Looks pretty cool, hopefully like others have said, rust will get a move on :) imo its not really changed that much for along time.

Rust servers can add plugins to include all these features. The whole idea of logging on a server and fighting to the death can be added to Rust already. No need to buy another game just for some additional gameplay options.
Besides, Rust is still in Alpha. There is much more work to be done and I'm guessing it will be awesome. The trailer for the Survival Games kickstarter was mostly CGI. I doubt the game will fully resemble what is represented in the trailer.

Looks pretty cool. Wonder how long it will take for The Hunger Games franchise to catch on and not be happy with it.
Not sure if I'd get in on the kickstarter but I would look at it once its in beta.
