    Hi

Just a quick question, can using the Virieo perception driver and modifying the config file for hl2 to run rust.exe get you banned? Little concerned since you need to throw a couple DLL's in the rust root directory and it kind of does chop the game up to work with VR.
Has anyone had success making a profile for the OR to work with rust? Ive seen videos but no one shares methods.

Are there any VAC'less servers (-secure) where I can test this without risking a ban?

    Cheers

    Is it a cheat?
    No? No ban.
    Yes? Ban.

I think this is pretty much solid reasoning with VAC.

    I haven't seen any vac-less servers.
As to your ban concerns, Any changes that have impact on the gameplay, that weren't approved/intended by administration can result in a ban, although in this specific case I can't tell.

Only modded game binaries or binary extensions will get you banned via vac. Drivers are totally separate from the game, I'm almost certain there is no risk.

He is saying that DLL's are placed in rust's root folder though, which could get detected if it accesses any of the memory allocated by the exe... Personally, I would create a new steam account, run it on a seperate partition and buy rust again, just to be sure.

Then it is definitely at risk of a vac ban.
