    Update 0.7 (23-03-2014)

A first pass at the ramps have been added - I know they're kind of floating at the moment but at least you can use them. Please let me know if the implmentation doesnt match that of Rust - It's not often I use them in game.

Sharing functionality (also doubles as load/save) coming soon!

    iGeordie,
Since discovering your tool, my productivity at work has slumped, and I'm holding you strictly responsible for my paycheck being smaller than prior to my discovery of your program. In addition, my girlfriend will not be pleased with the hours I'll be spending collecting digital wood.I'll be expecting a check in the mail to compensate my losses.

I'm going to add some browser support messages - this will let you know if your current browser is unsupported and point you in the direction of one that is.

So everyone is aware - I have registered www.basebuilder.co.uk which will go live with version 1 of the framework :)

you're getting really Tight on the wording on the left again. You might have to move that TOP box of "view log" "update bug" to the right side or decrease your font size again.

I have a UI redesign in the pipeline so hopefully that will clear it up

also JUST to let ya know.. Ramps WILL let you place more then one down on top of each other to get corners in the game.. Which your's does NOT let you do. (but i think it's just a max of 2 in game not 3+)

Sorry theres not been an update lately - hope you're all finding it useful.

I'm currently working on the UI and server side logic which will allow for sharing, saving and loading. I've also had an idea about a showcase bit of work which will allow you to load a set of buildings in one view (town's p[erhaps?)

btw - those images are just placeholders :)

I'm also going to introduce a few other languages - I have had a very kind offer from someone to sort some brazillian / portuguese content for me. If someone wants to step forward to help with German and Russian (they make up the majority of the user base other than English) that would be great.

So the welcome screen will contain the Load / Save Feature of the builder? Also do you think it's possible to get a blue sky with clouds or something? lol the black is just kinda dull :P If not it's cool just something to think about :)

I've thought about it :) and will add something.

    Edited:

The welcome screen is there to give some context to those who arrive outside of the forums. Loading and Saving will be handled within the editor.

I don't know if it's been posted, but could you have a toggle to show the skeleton only so that you could "see inside" of what you have built? Kinda like seeing a wireframe before the textures are applied. I'm not sure if that is easy or not.

I think he's working on a layer control system that you can change the occupancy so it fades out higher layers so you can see each level at a time..

This is great. Minor point, but could you drop in a sky texture or change the black to something a bit more neutral?

I can definitely change the black to light blue. I will look at adding an optional sky box for those who want it.

Correct - Just getting the current bugs out of the way, the share, save and load stuff sorted first.

You can now signup at www.basebuilder.co.uk - doing this will ensure you get notified when the builder goes live on that domain.

That will be a feature in the coming releases. Obviously it needs to be handled correctly, ie - you cant remove a pillar when it supports something above it. I'm rewriting some of the logic where the overall structure is concerned (balancing this with my day job is not easy).

    keep up the good work.

minor bug: green pillars flickering at the top left part of the screen.
