    Why is the large storage containers and the regular storage containers
    the same amount of space?

    At this rate, I only build regulars.

    Because you can only place regular boxes so close together and not stack them. A large storage is basically 3 smalls stacked up together. You can cram the large ones together and get an incredible amount of space compared to small boxes.

    He's referring to the physical space it takes up as in you can't place the crates right next to eachother...
