I'll try to explain myself... I don't really care being raid it's part of the game and I'm ok with it.

But in a lot of server airdrop are control in some way, Admin drop them when they like or they set high number of player to make an airdrop or almost no airdrop at all. This resulting in almost no possibility for solo or two guy team to put your hand on explosive so we can craft C4... acting this way keep the big group the only one to Raid everybody and at the same time removing the risk of them being raid. It's really unbalance this way :-/

The way to get around it is get friendly with other folks on the server who can craft C4, and learn to make the parts through them.

I've done it as a lone wolf, and it works well. just have to find the right folks to trade with.

I agree with you CrazyRonny, and after playing on quite a few servers myself and even attempting to run one, the 3 biggest things I ask about a server before joining it, is this.

Is C4 Craftable or drop only? If drop is it set to rare? (2 part question)
Do you limit the amount of people in groups? (So no one group can dominate by numbers)
Do you allow griefing, baracade exploit, or suicide bases?

Obviosly this doesn't stop raiding from happening but its the top three things I look for in a server....amongst other things as well. Getting into a decent group of 3-6 people always is a plus as well since I tried it with 2 people and in the end we ended up getting dominated. So people definitely are better off with grouping with a few people.

It's how I did it, found some dudes and made some very simple trades over about a weeks time. Started with simple crap like metal walls and pillars, worked up to Kev and M4's, and then went for C4 and explosives. By then both parties prolly know where the other one lives and you'll make agreements not to blow up each others shit =)

I have yet to be on a server and find someone in a large group (in control of a server) that was friendly enough to trade.

Normally the friendlies are other lone wolfs like yourself..

When there is a large group controlling the server, they go instintly into "fkn douche mode"

At least that is my experience after 200+hrs

Look into the server's rules before dedicating time for them. I usually look for servers that have remove and no TPA or Homespawns. I like Econ if it is actually implemented well. Supply signals being on the list of "leave the server if on the buy list".

One thing about air drops is it is non functioning properly. Admins can only spawn when they command it to do so, so that makes it limited to when they are on

I know the airdrop is bug since the sky change... but the unbalance due to airdrop control exist from longer than that.

I have shared my charges and explosives with others to allow them to craft c4. You just have to start chatting with some other players and when you feel the time is right ask. It also helps if you offer to trade or allow them to research something off you that they might need.

Some people refuse to help others learn c4 and military weapons but as far as I'm concerned it just means more action on the server. Plus in the past when I have hooked people up they ended up being friends with me and didn't raid me.

i found c4 in a secret spot by some guy. its not that hard to acquire. I'm more tired that the game is more in favor of the raider, then being raided at the moment. Basically no defenses besides spiked walls that are easily destroyed. and after a few days degenerate 1/2 hp a day. :/

its ok, make ur own big group and be the king.

if u want to be alone, there are always possibilities to get C4, how about grenades u can start with
or u can kill smb carrying explosives, i really see no disbalance in this game, its just uneasy.

If nobody else has said it, it's worth mentioning -- often times you won't need C4 for a house raid. People leave roofs off their homes or open windows all the time. A little creative building can get you inside.
