Again if someone got attacked by a burglar and then tried to defend him/herself and then kills the burglar and save his/her life or the others life ,does that still sounds wrong to you ?

You are playing a game,which literally offers you to hold someones life in your hand (be friendly or KOS everyone ).So if someone kill you in the game,you will took your revenge and will kill that guy/gal.
Or if you are in a group of friends and if someone or another group kill(s) your friends,you will again try to take your revenge.

These are my humble opinions,and i'm not trying to provocate people to kill each other.Of course killing someone is just wrong and terrible idea.And i do not approve the what OP says,hire a bad guy to get rid of another bad guy !

Edit:That one goes to OP.There will be no "white" hacker actually,as soon as they get rid off the "bad" hackers.What they will gonna do ? Probably they will try to take over and will be "bad guys".Unfortunately some admins doing that without hackers.

Can a Moderator please close this thread, it is in essence trying to legitimize hacking. There should be a ZERO tolerance towards hacking in Rust no matter what the intentions are.

did anyone read my post. im not saying that it is right, im just saying it is effective when used properly, and should be used by trusted users of the community of that server

Murdering a murderer is murder, and we've already established that murder is wrong; otherwise one wouldn't feel the need to murder the murderer.

It's really simple ethics, "Two wrongs don't make a right", "eye for an eye makes the whole world blind", etc. If people hack, ban them.

Killing in self defense = fine, because it's him or you, and no one is going to choose him. The goes for soldiers, police officers, and everyone else.

I need to stop getting embroiled in these kind of arguments, damnit.

If it isn't right, then it shouldn't be done at all. It makes no sense to allow trusted people to cheat.

the world isnt black and white, there is always an exception. that is something the justice system did get wrong, but doing that is almost impossible as there would be an exception to everything, including this statement.
