im just tired that people keep saying there r no such unraidable base so i build one

You can't possibly build an unraidable base unless you were to exploit building inside of a rock.

And you are right , i would just build inside rock on normal server , the only unraidable base against hackers

And even then every kid who tries to build in one after seeing that youtube video doesn't know how to build up inside of it so you can't just get your own sleeping bags in there.
The amount of rocks I've gotten into as a new spawn to find bases with no walls or roofs and just stockpiled with LSC's is hilarious

I have been at this base for 1½ hours..
My final evaluation is:
It is, with the current content and build mechanics ''physically'' (without hacks) impossible to obtain the loot from the loot room of this building design. It is however possible to: Build a stairway up the side of the building to the roof, jump across the pillars onto the small ceiling, and place C4 ontop of the ceilings to let the damage from the c4 pass trough the ceiling, destroying the doorway, and then from the stairs throw grenades into the loot room, destroying the loot and sleeping bag, hereby rendering the base un-useable by the owner. However the amount of c4 require to destroy the doorway trough the ceiling is so high that this is very unlikely to be done by your average griefer/enemy. (50 c4 +-)

It is suicide entry which IMO is cheating. Using game mechanics to gain an edge does not constitute normal behavior therefore the base should not exist. I have just successfully raided your base without even stepping foot on your server. Where is my cookie!!

I would just run by daily and shoot down the large storage boxes till they where destroyed. Replacing them would look like a pain. Also it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually make it so you have to be on the same level as the storage box to loot, or reduce the distance at which you can open a storage box.

That looks pretty Challenageing. One day someones gonna think of a 100% unraidable base, everyones gonna get the design for it, and the games gonna stop being fun. Thats gonna be a sad day.

I can raid this and will prove it tonight after school. Although you were very, very, very close to building a completely unraidable base. We just took one down on another server, although it was a real public server, where they picked a bad build spot and thus left an opening. However, my raid will take 2 people and a little time. So I may have to wait for a friend to help me. And the reason not everyone would build bases like this (suicide bases) is it takes forever to get your stuff in, you always have to suicide in no matter what and a lot of the time the spot people pick has 1 square they cant build and they are SOL. I mean imagine raiding someone and 5 of you have full invetories 3 times. Now all of you have to jump and put your stuff into 1 box 1 at a time suicide up take the stuff out and repeat.

it is 4 floor height to the storage box and the loot room is 7 floor height

I looked at this base this morning. Normally i can get into those suicide bases in like 5 minutes, however, this base has a nice design for the outer 2 foundations. I ran out of time and had to log, but I think there is a way in there. I'm going to test it when i get home.
However, there are a few caveats to this base design.
1.) How the hell do you get your loot up there? Based on the height of everything, its impossible. Not sure how much of your base was wreck'd/modified, but explain how you get items up there?
2.) Grievers would shoot all those boxes and that sleeping bag everyday -- I guarantee it.
3.) Without a remove tool, i highly doubt anyone can pull off this design
4.) You would need an astronomical amount of wood for anything larger than a 2x2
Did you put that gate in the center area? or was somebody able to lay that gate in there somehow? My way in hinges on that gate, that's why I'm asking.

hasnt been a base i havent been able to raid yet. let me show you how i do it, but a majority of people dont know this trick

If that base were on a normal server, I wouldn't even attempt to raid it. Much easier pickings on normal servers. Forceflex #1 raider US

You *CAN* get close enough to the edge to place the C4 from the ceiling onto the wall and blowing it out that way. It is then possible to fall from the ceiling, into that room.

Well, he could've done it almost naked. He's put one spike at a time and jumped from the barricades on top to the spikes so he can add one more, etc..
Next time, try to make an actual base. There is no way you can put your stuff in this one (the storage box is way to high for a suicide base, making it unusable).
EDIT: I wonder if the external pillars around the base would've been much higher, it would've made it extremely difficult, almost impossible. But then again, there is no damage from fall on this server, and on a "true" server, there is now way you could've got that much wood without being raided before it's done or before a wipe :p

u can still access the stoarge box on 4 flr height , using the spikes wall run and jump , just a bit difficult and need a medkit everytime
And you cant really put the spikes wall on pillar from below
need to be on same level or above the pillar so you need to stand on the spikes wall to place next spikes wall
if u are naked ,u have about 5sec before u die while u standing on spikes wall

Haven't seen any storage box on the 4th floor (there is one in front of your main room tho, but it's much higher then 4 floors, on the 8th).
Also, where was this storage box? Right now, there is a pillar going all the way from the bottom to the inside of your base. Looking at your screenshot, it looks like those storage box were either on top of the pillar (which was 4 floor high) or inside it. Either way it's been griefed right now (making this base uneffective).
Finally, I'm still wondering how come you could loot the box on the 4th floor from the loot room?

There shouldn't be unraidable bases in Rust because, typically, they are a cheap exploit that ruin the point of the game. If this is a suicide base, I would simply shoot and destroy the boxes you use to bring your loot here. It would ruin the teleporting trick you use, eventually it would decay, then I'd raid what remains. Seriously, suiciding to teleport into a base is complete bullshit. The game developers should consider 'suicide bases' to be an issue to address.

Agreed, suicide bases are lame and that should be on the top of the list of fixes to address (along with the pillar/barricade exploit).

I'm certainly missing something here but if someone kill himself to teleport in his base, how can he carry the loot with him (since when you die you loose your loot)?
