That should be fixed by making suiciding to get back to your base less attractive and/or possible, not by compromising all other legitimate bases by continuing to allow an exploit.

Ohh I agree fully, however until they address the suicide bases there needs to be some way to deal with them and from what I have seen it doesn't look like it is going to be anytime soon that the dev's address that problem.
The easiest fix is you have to be on the same level as the storage box, or reduce the range to access one greatly.
I was actually thinking of doing a youtube video on how to break into these to discourage them or so everyone knows how but I would have to re-setup all my recording software ect which I don't want to do :P
Does it still work?
Cause it wont owrk for me when im trying to place a barricade on a pillar..
I got jacked last night, it still works.
Being against the silly notion that you can stack barricades into super ladders isn't against 'raiding.' It's being against "super easy raiding."
If raiders really want to raid, there is always the route that is intended, and which is what they rarely want to do: blast in through the front door.
Not going to teach you how to exploit, but you can't just place it on any pillar. Has to be done a certain way (which makes it all more obvious that it's an unintended bug, therefor an exploit.)
Fix this please, it's ridiculous. I agree that suicide bases are stupid too and there is a simple fix for the hardest ones, don't allow doors to be placed with boxes sticking out the doorway.
I'd say just don't allow access to containers while you're midair. Suicide bases don't justify the existence of barricade ladders IMO though.
