So I have been playing rust now since Alpha and decided it is time to get my own server and put a unique twist on it.
As much feedback would be great from everyone regarding this.

The concept I have come up with is a server with continues 24-7 active admins. Now in order to do this, I needed to find a few good friends in which I have established over my years of gaming that I can trust and do trust. They will NOT have any admin powers other then banning to control hackers. I have set admins coming from London England, Chicago USA, Alberta Canada, and I am currently in talks with a friend in Russia. This should cover all time zones and 1 of us will be on at all times.

Now comes the unique part. I have talked to these admins and we are going to be, what I call "ghost" admins. We will not make ourselves know that we are admins, we will simple help out when needed in a manor that no one will see who we are. Now the reason for this is, hackers will not be able to hop on when they think a admin is not available. This gives us both a edge on hackers, and the ability to let server side players know there is no admin abuse on our server. Being a "ghost" will ensure that players cannot simply say admins are abusing there powers, because who are the admins? My goal here is to run a server that is like a Official server, simply with a couple mods, and most importantly ADMINS that are Honor-bound.

Now for a few server side things in which everyone should know.

Mods- we are going to be using Oxide, this gives us the best chance to keep the server healthy and also easily accessible to players using kits and what not.
We will have a starter kit that is Unique to our server. It will include: 1 Stone Hatchet, and 1 Revolver with NO AMMO. We decided this would be a unique aspect to the server which individuals can use to there advantage in anyway they see fit.
Airdrops I feel are a must, but at the same time we need a solid player base before we drop them in order to keep our server having a healthy player base. The number of people will be set to 35 for the time being.
Sleepers, yes we feel sleepers is a HUGE part of rust. This insures a funner style of game play and one that allows a little more pvp action and excitement.
Military Weapons, and C4. We will have this set to a LOW drop rate, simply to insure enough time for everyone to have a chance to become settled in to the Rust world and be able to defend themselves. C4 and Military weapons WILL be craft-able.
DoorShare, yes we have that enabled also for easier access then the code.


Please once again I do ask for your opinions and other things you may like to see a server have that would not only keep you around and playing but interested in staying with Rust long term.

This sounds like a good idea. I will for sure give this one a try. thanks guys we need a true admin abuse free server

I really like this direction, hope it maintains a more survivalist environment than those servers that just turn in to FPS within a day of a wipe.

Solid server, just needs a group or two to bring the average population up so I can get raided

Let continue to grow the server pop otherwise this is a lost cause. It's fun being able to actually gather mats but it's not fun when there is nobody to shoot (or when you get shot in the back by your friend...)
