I ordered multiple copies of Rust during the dutch auction and no one will help me retrieve those copies. I wanted to give them to moderators of my gaming community for Christmas. I contacted someone in support and we talked back and forth for about a month. The rep sent me to this link
http://old.playrust.com/user/login/
and told me, "There are links on the forums to do this. You need to log into the old play rust website and then convert the keys there."
So, I went there and it didn't work. I sent the rep this message at the end of January and still haven't received a response. I've been really excited about this game and purchased a copy for myself as well as 4 more copies for my friends before I even had the computer to be able to play it. I just purchased the parts for my new PC and the first thing I want to do is play Rust. However, this is fucking bullshit. What do I have to do to get what I paid for?
This is the last email I sent the rep:
"Ok, this is what is happening. I purchased these keys with the same email address. I bought them to give to other people. When I go to the link you provided it only shows me one steam code with the login I used. It says that in order to get the other steam codes I need to create another account with the 16 digit codes I received via email. However, there is nowhere to create a new account on the old website. Also, and this is the worst part in my opinion, the one code I had access too, it's gone. I tried to activate it and it says it's a duplicate! Can I please have someone walk me through this process so I can be done with this? Maybe I'm looking past something simple but it doesn't feel that way. It feels like you guys got my money and are now done with me. I don't have my four steam codes and I want my four steam codes. It's been a month that I've been asking. I'm assuming that Facepunch wants to make their customers happy and this transaction has been a nightmare. Please help me."

Put your Dutch auction keys in there. Sign up for playrust.com accounts for each key. There'll be a menu option at the top called "Steam Key". I'm sure you can get the rest of the way from there if everything goes smoothly up to that point.
As for the Steam key itself being used before you even got to it, I very literally can't help you at all with that one; you'll need to communicate through the official channels with FP Studios on that one. There's the ticket system mentioned in the "Purchasing problems?" sticky at the top of the Rust subforum, if you haven't already gone beyond that by having email correspondence directly with them.

I don't really know what else to do. The codes are either saying they've already been used or the people I am giving the codes to aren't receiving their email. I think I might just chalk this one up to a loss. Thanks anyway for the help.
