Hi there,

is there any way you can disable the name tags above players? I haven't found an option for that in the configurations file.
(This would be useful so you cannot get tracked in videos/streams by adding random people from the video on steam and watching their history)

nametags are one of the few ways we can ID people and root out cheaters, turning them off is a lousy idea. I hear people wanting to get rid of names in the kill feed. So no names in kill feed, no names over head, we're just 100-150 people on a server randomly killing each other, nobody knows anybody else or has any way of identifying each other.

No, I mean I want to disable the displaying of names just on my client, not for a server.

Does facepunch have something like idea submission services? I doubt that. So... *push for attention*

If I try the ghost someone on my server they see me from a mile away now. So it would be cool for the admins to turn their own names off. That I would like, otherwise my vote is with Itachirumon. It would be worse than the Wild West.
