FYI, I did only make ONE THREAD, reguarding a Paticular server, yet 2 threads i made (reguarding different subjects) i got banned for, even though there was NOTHING in the search function reguarding them or my problem.
Oh well, "That's how facepunch has worked for the last 9 years", thats funny.
How about contribute something usefull for once, give your love children fanboys something to actually "+1" your post for.
EDIT: PS: I read the fourm rules, and my FIRST THREAD EVER was posted in the wrong section by mistake, i said A mod can move it if they wish, i was threatened by Brown nosers i would be banned, i said i couldnt care, as basically its out of my hands, a mod can move it, a mod can ban me, oh wait I WAS BANNED. Proof you are known for being troll mods who ban for anything even when legit mistakes are made (the fan boys called the ban before it happened, fun that shit when they know the BAD MOD HABBITS).
EDIT : PPS, no were does it say, that if you accidently place a thread in the wrong section you will be instantly banned for no reason, without warning. But YEA, GO MODS.

Gee it's almost like that's a totally different problem then what I was talking about??? Yeah you didn't read the rules stickies and ignored all the subforums and the thread set aside for hacking with those two bans.
Uh I don't get it but ok. If you enjoyed that fact you'll probably love to know we're also the 12th largest forum on the net, and we're not in the top 10 only because all of the posts from the first few years here got deleted. Sure sounds like we're doing something right if you ask me :)
I get shitty posters off the forums and keep things clean and organized here lol, that's sounds like a contribution to me. Boy you sure do sound upset over a temporary forum ban, maybe instead of thinking about it as me trying to piss you off, why not try and learn from it instead?

Then I guess you should've taken more time to learn the rules before you posted, and put more effort into the threads you make. It's not like we hide the rules from you or something.

Uh every ban has a reason tied to it lol, don't be so dramatic. And the ban is the warning for those that ignored the first warning of the rules posted in plain sight. And posting a thread isn't an accident, it's just being lazy lol. Unless you were posting while blindfolded. In which case I'd suggest not doing that anymore. Thanks for the support though! :)

Ok, I did learn from it, i always double check what forum i am in before i made a thread, and to avoide any problems, i tend not to even post or comment on much here now.
However, there is the RIGHT way, and YOUR WAY. Just because Slavery was around for 10,000+ years, and we have only abolished it for the past handfull of years, does not make slavery right. Its time for a change for the way the mods deal with things if you ask me.
Instead of an instan ban for a simple mistake, maybe redirect it, give a warning, and you wouldnt have the piss poor reputation you have at this moment in time.
But what do i know.
PS: The FIRST THREAD + Post i made i was banned for, and it WAS because it was made in the wrong section, nothing more than a mod being a jackass mate.
No warning, NO nada, i logged out for the night, banned the next day. It was what instantly put me off these forums, and was the start to the down turn on my Rust experience.

Uh please don't compare temporary bans on the internet to human slavery, it made me physically cringe.
We have the rules in plain sight, that is the warning. If you ignored them, we're not gonna waste time giving a second verbal warning. You move on to temporary bans, which are themselves just a more strict warning. And our piss poor reputation is only with people that weren't able to function here, and that's something we're totally fine with.

lol again, you were warned. You just decided to not spend any time learning the rules and post whatever with the expectation of us cleaning up after you. Don't be lazy and you won't get banned. Really simple solution right there.

dont be lazy ? I made a mistake and posted in wrong section, I asked in the thread if a mod could kindly redirect it (ME Being lazy my left foot), Instead of the mod doing his job correctly, he does it like it has been for the past 9 years, like a lazy jackass, and bans me.
Sadly, it is MUCH easier for you to ban people than redirect them even after they ask and acknowledge they made a mistake, Thats you being Lazy son, NOT ME.
No lesson really learned, except the forum has bad rules and bad moderation, if they would rather ban there players over this than redirect them to the correct place EVEN AFTER THEY REQUEST A THREAD BE MOVED.

Yeah if you just took time to learn how the forum worked first then that wouldn't have happened. Obviously you didn't put more effort into learning the rules so yeah, the ban happened.
You can keep trying to claim I'm lazy for doing my job and banning you but the fact isn't gonna change if you just put more effort into learning the rules you wouldn't have been banned. That sure sounds like you were just being lazy to me. Please put more effort into familiarizing yourself with how this forum works, and we won't have any further issues :)

To be honist i was expected to be banned 5 mins ago after my second reply with how easy you guys dish out bans, and the fact you would rather ban someone for a miss placed thread, than entertain this clear total derailment yourself in this thread.
This is classic Mod Trolling 101 at its best people.
Allow total and uncontroled derailment of thread, and even join in on it, yet ban people who accidently put a thread in the wrong section, even after they request it be moved.

Maybe it would be advantageous for yourself to take evening class's after normal school has finished to learn some higher communication skills.

Omega was on US East Coast 3 yesterday, wiped everything once again and killed all.
Anything on a rollback? Because this is like, the second time it happened in a week.

This question has been asked a bunch of times, with no response whatsoever from the development team. I think it's safe to say that there will not be any rollbacks, as they didn't occur after the first or second time that Omega hit the server. Why would the third be any different? The best we can hope for, at this point, is a complete server wipe, which wouldn't be bad because Omega's hacks didn't hit everyone (just 95% of the players on the server), so some lost all and some lost nothing.
These attacks (hacks) have been going on for weeks now. My guess is that the development team is allowing them to keep happening so that they can continue to gather data on how to combat them--or they really don't know what's going on. Omega's Steam account still doesn't list a VAC ban, but maybe he's been "cheatpunched." At any rate, the lack of communication from the development team leaves a lot to be desired and we're all in the same boat. Hopefully, the next patch will tighten up the security of the game's code.
Expect to get the standard "deal-with-it" and you" "you-signed-up-for-an-alpha" response from others. I think your question is valid, however, and I asked the same question when Omega hit the NA 4 server. It fell on deaf ears, however.
