AND I LIKED IT. I started the game a nice bright eyed bushy tailed kid. I WAS KICKED AND PILLAGED. I pleged to always be helpful, especially now that I am established and have a nice huge base. But I gave in, I had to know. What does it feel like? IT FEELS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Shooting a bambi, blowing up shacks and raiding forts with only a little wood and maybe rocks. It's a whole different game. KOS and luring people out. Amazing. That is all

I usually play as a "friendly". I did go on a single session killing spree on NA3 once though. I got about 20 people and raided about 3 shacks and two bigger houses before someone got me. It's amazing how much stuff you get and so quickly when you KOS and raid lol.

    This is 'Gold'!

I wish I could double rate your post with the 'Winner' tag also :)

I also would like the option to play 'friendly', but unless I am on a server with my preexisting steam friends, I generally find that 'friendly' is definitely the 'hard' way; to even give it a chance :)

I think their needs to be more in game rewards for following this route

as I feel that the game currently favors the 'wicked' and is very harsh on the 'good' :)

you can either be a gentle man and make good friends, be a polite, passive, caring man, and find a very pleasing experience in a game with choice. You can get some pretty decent rewards. Being nice just feels wonderful.

OR take a risk, screw people over, loot all of their shit and then royally fuck them up, leave then naked in a fucking ditch somewhere and burn their house, then walk off like a smug prick.

"playing nice" could get you rewards, but maybe not as much as banditing.

Myself and a friend play together, most of the time. He is incredibly bloodthirsty and delights in hunting people down for no reason other than "the luls". I will kill for sport occasionally, but tend to let most people pass without attacking unless provoked.

The last server we played on, I ended up earning the bloodthirsty title (semi-jokingly initially) because I attacked a guy farming mutants near small rad (I got 2 research kits from it, and this was day 2 of the server, so it was huge). Afterwards, I just went with it and had some fun, but we spent each of our play sessions laughing our asses off as people called me bloodthirsty and a murderer, when he was sitting there plotting how to sneak into someones base while they were out gathering.

We also had some of the best battles I've experienced to date over airdrops on this server. Me and him got jumped by 3 guys (initially, then a naked guy holding a shotgun joined in). They dropped my buddy after finding explosives in one of the chests, and then I came in behind and cleaned house and gathered everything. I was shaking like a leaf for about 30 minutes from the adrenaline of going 1v4 over the single explosives we found. Too bad the server decided to wipe on the 12th, just 5 days after the previous wipe. We were 1 piece away from making our metal base, and had all the other blueprints learned minus charges. :(
