i'd rather they not wipe. I can imagine all those players who actually lost tons of loot feeling the same way.

they cant wipe... becouse alot players lost alot items. Yea , its alpha but we all pay 20 eur for this game, and we lose all stuff? so wtf?

yh wiping after a major hack like that is just cruel really. Whether its alpha or not, over a million copies have sold so you would think they would care about the players

They have said to be prepared to lose stuff often. Be it from mandatory server wipes, be it from other players, be it from hackers. I know you are gonna flame me and dislike what I say, but odds are you won't get your rollback, just start over. If I'm wrong and you guys do, more power to you. Again I don't want to sound like a dick, just that even though it was the apparent work of a hacker/cheater, don't hold your breath for a rollback/restoration.

No point if they don't re roll. Minor hacks like aimbotting, speed hacking, fly hacking and wall hacking are one thing, and that sort of thing people are willing to put up with because the cost is small. But when someone can come in to 5 seperate official servers, destroy everybodies stuff in a couple of hours, we need a roll back as security that if we even decided to build up from scratch and this same thing happened again, that we could get our stuff back. This wasnt something that affected 1 or 2 people, we are talking about 5 servers worth of people who got their stuff destoyed in a matter of hours. Rust is going to not only sales, but reputation and players because people aren't going to waste their time playing a game where you can have 10 storage crates worth of loot destroyed in seconds by a hacker who can insta kill everyone with one hit then destroy all your crates from outside your base.

Remember, this is an Early Access game. Loosing stuff, dealing with Hackers and all those related threads are mean to happend.
You can't come here and ask for Item Refunds if you bought the game knowing it might happend. Also, FP is not responsable for that, the server owners are.

we are talking about official servers facepunch rule those servers and we are asking for a roll back and a patch not like they offer a refund. i just wont to play the game again!

Your post makes no sense. I, as well as other people came into the game expecting the usual hacks like I've mentioned in previous posts. But this sort of hack deserves attention as is affected 500+ players in a matter of hours. And btw, I can come here and ask for item refunds. They've already done a server re roll within the last week, im pretty sure it won't take them 5 minutes to do it again. And using the excuse that "its an alpha game" with something as nasty as what happened lastnight is just aload of crap tbh.

You can always play on a different server, it won't guarantee you won't lose your stuff, but not every server has as bad a hacker problem as the officials do. If you don't want to play other servers, that's your choice, but it isn't really a secret that the officials are plagued by hackers.

What? Storage boxes missing = hacker attack?

3 out of 4 boxes missing in official PvE East Coast 2 server few days ago.

As far as i know, he didn't specified wich server he was refering to.
But, also your supposed to Deal with it. If you get mad because your stuff gets stolen or hijacked by a Hacker, you must deal with it, since your playing a game not finished and full of Bugs, Exploits, etc.

You all realize there WILL be wipes? At the bare minimum two more... From Alpha to Beta, and from Beta to Release....
I would count on many more than that, and I'm prepared for it. I bought the game knowing like everyone else that this was early access.... You are not playing for long term end-game right now and it's kind of foolish to plan that way IMO.

wow. just wow. dont play alpha's. your stuff gets wiped on most big patches, usually bi-weekly for most servers as well.
