I have a question when checking Steam Id's should I use ?

http://www.vacbanned.com/ or https://playrust.eu/bancheck.php

vacbanned.com says the ID isn't banned but playrust.eu says banned ESP/Lighthack ?

Cheatpunch is not VAC. Cheatpunch is Facepunch Studios' own anticheat, and it detected you cheating.

VAC bans are different to the ones done by Cheatpunch, VAC bans are made by Valve and ban you from playing on VAC enabled servers, Cheatpunch bans you from the official servers for now, from all Cheatpunch enabled servers as soon as it's implemented.

Uh, yeah, that's the idea.

However, any server owner who wants to run Cheatpunch can by updating to the latest version off Steam and launching the server with -cheatpunch in the command line. And it'll probably be enabled by default soon enough.

So enjoy community servers while you can.

I'm not happy with the command line option, due to not having access to the command line on Multiplay. I would prefer the option in server.cfg.

I've a feeling HFB doesn't give them CLI/shell access and instead gives them a control panel with a "Start Server" button. I know at least some GSPs do as a way of keeping people far away from the actual server files.

If we didn't hear this exact same story every time someone registers a brand new account and their first post is claiming they were falsely banned, we might actually believe you a bit more.

As it is, you've been caught by Cheatpunch using ESP and light hacks.

If Cheatpunch isn't running when the server starts, it can't trust the state of the server when it does get launched. That's why it's not something you can turn on and off with rcon.

I'm sure the GSPs are going to add a "launch server [with cheatpunch enabled]" button soon enough, because how hard can it be to copy-paste something and add " -cheatpunch" to the end of the start-server command? This just became public, so I don't blame them for not having a solution already tested and deployed.
