Well, I haven't used any cheats at all and...I have no problem joining official servers. Sounds like it's working to me.
Doncha love all the people who say, "Well...I've played for XXX hours and I've never seen a single hacker."
You know, I had actually noticed the official servers had been oddly clean for the most part over the weekend.

I never hacked on my current steam ID. I never used the hack for any person gain. Only played on my own server with it and never killed a single person.

woops sorry you needed 64 bit steam id which is STEAM_0:0:49920000 im banned but my vac seems good i last checked today.i didn't hack so could you please further investigate it.i also tried re-installing rust just to make sure but still banned.

Don't download cheats onto your computer if you don't want to be branded a cheater.

Cheatpunch is not VAC. Cheatpunch is Facepunch Studios' own anticheat, and it detected you cheating.
Check for yourself.

Hi - you used it today. And Yesterday. Cheatpunch doesn't detect cheats that you download, never use but keep in your recycle bin while you play the game.

Hi Garry.
First off, Congratulations on rolling out a new system which will help in the war against dishonest cheaters.
Now for my post. I have been cheatpunch banned from official servers, and i'm willing to put my hands up. Yes i used a hacking program. However the reason i used it is why i post here now. I acquired my program for the use on mine and my friends server. We love our server, and we hope it becomes more and more popular, the only issue being, hackers (ironically). We had numerous reports from our players 'This person is doing this' and 'This person is doing that'. After doing the usual teleport to the accused player and follow them around, they always stop using their hacks. Thats where my idea came in. I bought a hacking program to use ONLY the ESP to detect players within a 500m range. Let's be honest, catching someone cheating is easy once they have a box around them moving at the speed of sound, or flying 200 feet into the air and landing unharmed. This turned out to be successful, and 9/10 players who were accused were caught, and banned all thanks to the help from the ESP. Of course there's the odd accusation which is false, so the ESP also helped to identify the false accusations. I don't really WANT to buy Rust again, but I feel i owe it to the players on mine and my friends server to buy it again so i can continue making a server that is as safe as possible from people who will try and ruin the player experience by constantly harassing players by killing them with hacks.
I understood the risk of using the cheat program, regarding VAC bans anyway, but the cheatpunch came as a surprise. It may also be worth noting that we used a plugin for servers called 'Fly' which allows admin to fly above players. We used this so players we were following couldnt hear our footsteps, alongside the STP teleport addon, which allows admins to teleport to players annoymously. But if a player who is hacking is using the ESP, i believe they can see admins anyway, even with invisible clothing.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. I hope that this post is seen by you, and once again, im glad you've managed to get this much success from CheatPunch, and i hope that i'll be around for a long time.

well i re-installed the game again because i just couldn't believe it and bam im not banned im on the official north america stress test server im collecting some wood so it works i guess i was a false positive then?

If you got caught hacking, and you buy a new account, and stay clean, will your new account get banned as well?

Can you stop? The official server bans haven't gone out yet. You checked your profile because you knew you were hacking and it popped up. I admitted to using the cheat, and I'm banned also as well as a few others I knew about. It's not a false positive. No one will unban you. Buy the damn game again and try again without cheating.

I assume that there are going to be a lot of completely empty massive structures on the official servers? ;)
With that in mind, it might be a good time to wipe the official servers to get rid of the "hacker-palaces", otherwise it'll be kind of easy to have legit teams take them over as they "melt". A clean-slate would be nice now that a huge number of hackers have been banned, and know damned well that the game is up (or getting much harder)

no i was banned from the official server but i didn't hack believe it or not i don't care but after re-installing it went away and let me back on the server.

The new account won't get banned again so long as you don't run anything. It's your steamID that was banned. The only way to get re-banned on a new account is to have the anti-cheat detect cheating programs while you're playing.

If every patch until the official release is complete crap (don't expect them to be)...this will still make up for it.

Given that it's easier for most people to change their IP than their Steam account, I'm guessing it's by Steam ID, not IP.
Especially since the cheatpunch checker goes by Steam ID.
