and you'll see. The whole first page of google is covered up with cheats (even 3 youtube videos) and not some things that have to do with cars...

Does not matter if you get whitelisted or not, a VAC ban is permanent on ALL games that use the VAC system, the only way to fix this is to create another account and buy back your affected games.

I thought the only time you were banned from multiple online games with one VAC ban was when it was a Valve game. :/

Except that you can still play Rust if you have a VAC ban in MW2. Only certain Valve games share VAC status. Rust is not one of them.

You contradict yourself: First you say you are not smart enough to type more than one term into the search bar, then you say you know the inner workings of google... And don't try to insult me, I use anti-tracker measures so even if I would search for cheats at a regular basis (which I don't) google wouldn't recorgnize. Also J!NX seems to get the same results as me...

Commands preceded by a '-' are generally parameters for a process.
I don't know if your server providers has this, but usually it's called launch options or command line.

So there's a guy on my server that already have 2 VAC bans (last one 33 days ago) and a lot of people thinks that he's cheating. However I'm not banning people without proper evidence but now all of a sudden this guy is banned (from my server, he can still join other servers according to him). I didn't ban him, and as far as I know none of my admins banned him, because then they should have made a post on our forums about that.
I'm wondering if I, as a server owner, somewhere can see the people CheatPunch banned?
I've a strong feeling this guy was hacking and was banned by CheatPunch. Now I want to be able to show him that CheatPunch banned his ass and put him behind me.

I just bought Rust for a longtime friend of mine but he isn't allowed in cheatpunch servers because he is vac banned in counter strike source (so he has a vac ban on record).

This vac ban is (as of this post) 2695 days old so 7 years, so believe me he isn't a cheater.

I was hoping that this issue could be addressed where people with vac bans over 5 years old are allowed in cheatpunch servers possibly? (I mean 5 years is a lot of time in human years I suppose)

Oddly enough he can join cheatpunch enabled servers sometimes but it will kick him out later quite abruptly. (Sometimes hours later)

Don't get me wrong I believe in punishing hackers to the full extent as the next clean player but this is legitimately a case of a clean player being persecuted by an anti-cheat system.

Thanks for your time if you get around to reading this and I'd also like to say keep up the good work!

I read earlier in this thread that server admins set the limit for number of days/years since a player has been VAC banned. Are you sure that's the reason he's being kicked from cheatpunch servers?

I'm 9000% positive that is why, he doesn't use any kind of hack/cheat/plugin/mods. At least not since we were 16 (We're 24 now)

I'm 99% sure cheatpunch doesn't kick cause of VAC. there are server plugins available which do this, so tell the admin(s) of the server(s) this story instead.

Well the server in question was running a bunch of plugins so this is a possibility but I am 99% sure that it was broadcasting "kicked by cheatpunch"
