Just gonna say War Z is a shit game that you should use cheats for. Most of the playerbase is cheating and you can watch people make a beeline straight for you even if you were hiding in the darkest corner of the most unpopular building. Throw in the fact the devs put microtransactions everywhere they possibly could, even for the ability to respawn, you have a game that deserves to be hacked to pieces.

As for cheating in Rust, meh, doesn't bother me since the admins on my server will ban you well before VAC. If you want to ruin your steam account and reputation, go ahead, your fun won't last long and it's more money for my favorite game.

Never did I say I was pressured into using cheats, it was a choice which led to me to see just how many other people were cheating in that game. It was the most fun I'd had playing that game for the week I had cheats, I encourage everyone to download cheats for War Z.

I fully enjoy Rust as it is and have no plans to cheat, thanks to player run servers with admins who care.

Not my logic, I never encouraged cheats in Rust. I don't see anywhere near the level of rampant cheating in Rust as I did following the release of War Z.

That's pretty pathetic if you're starting to rage, you seem to place yourself above people who make different choices than you. Find comfort in knowing cheaters get their due, VAC will find them and their fun is only temporary. That's all my original post was trying to point out. Have perspective.

Think about it: Teleporting lets you cover a large amount of space in a short amount of time. If someone is trying to claim that an anti cheat made a false positive, naturally they are gonna claim something from a server mod got picked up as a hack. And what better thing than teleporting = covering a lot of ground quickly = speedhack ban.

yeah, you dont get banned for an in game functionality... VAC works by catching code thats injected into the game files.

And this is why vac bans are the best bans. Hackers might be able to scoff at a particular copy of theirs being banned, but to have your entire steam account bearing the mark is such beautiful justice.
